But holy fuck, Masquerade just really doesn't work in 2010+. It's too bad that Requiem didn't take off like Masquerade, and everyone nuthugs Masquerade.

While it may be true that the vampire line is better setting-wise in oWoD, pretty much everything else is superior in nWoD. You may have debates on whether or not Werewolf or Mage is better in oWoD or nWoD, but Hunter and Changeling is so vastly superior in nWoD it's not even funny.
