Hey guys, I need help on deciding what to do with New Vegas.
I spent the last couple days modding up new vegas for another run through, and JUST as I finished modding it up, my friend gifted me fallout 3 goty on steam. so i have a few questions.
1) is it worth a TTW playthrough?
2) will leveled lists from new vegas, carry over? for instance i installed Weapons of the New millenia, will those weapons appear on fallout 3 enemies?
3) if i were to do a TTW playthrough, would it just be best to wipe my mods and redo it with a TTW playthrough in mind?

i wish there were more powder ganger quests. their part of the map is pretty barren after you finish up in Primm. would have been cool to raid the mojave outpost with them after defending the prison. and being able to negotiate with the guys inside the Bison Steve so they can take over the town.

I just started TTW and it's great, took a fucklong time to setup and fo3 mods are limited to converted ones but I think it was worth it, still not even sure how to get to new vegas yet
from what I know leveled list don't carry over for modded stuff unless specifically converted, new millenia does have a patch for ttw and all the new vegas stuff will also show up
you have to wipe fucking everything clean to setup ttw without issues, alot of specific mods will make nv break ttw beyond repair and there is a list on their site so just do everything clean and use their FAQ when your modding it again.

If you want to replay through FO3 then it is. Otherwise it's not worth the installation time.

Many mods still work with TTW without a specific TTW patch, but check the TTW site to make sure your mods are compatible.

i do it to set up a string of merchants along the western side of the map. if you help Joe Cobb then Chet will give you a huge discount and buy items from you at their full value, same as Johnson Nash if you get Meyers in as sherrif. then you have Carter inside the prison, where there is also a doctor. i do this for my survivalist playthrough, and use the powder that they give for crafting ammo.
