Fuck I forgot about that game. Got access to it a while back, haven't played since. So they might have changed what I remember from the game...
Coming from Smite, it was pretty annoying to not have "targeters" showing how far you are going to jump or how thick your projectiles are. But after a few matches it got the feel for it and has been relatively smooth sailing from there.
Also it takes too long to get new characters imo. Game is fun and all that, but playing the same handful of characters while grinding for the next one feels shitty. Especially if you don't end up liking the character you saved up for and have to grind all over again.
All in all, I'll probably play it again, most likely in an "off-and-on" style.

I love it but the matchmaking takes so fuckin long, that I barely play it
I really hope the open beta and all OS version will fix that, but with the 0 marketing I have my doubts

I mean I love dota, but dota-like mechanics applied to other games tend to make those games really really shit, dota just works because its dota, slap lanes and a PVE grind before you can actually do any fighting in any game besides it they usually butcher it.

Played the beta awhile back on thexbone. I had no expectations whatsoever and I generally hate ASSFAGGOTS but I really liked this and played it quite a bit. Really like the artstyle and music and the game itself is prettyfun. The little girl who summons the ghost of her father was my favorite character to play with.

I think this game is a bit more comparable to Smite than Overwatch is to Battlefield.
The over-the-shoulder, third person MOBA style looks and seems to play pretty similarly.
I don't doubt there are some core differences, but it's not unique enough to compete in the market as far as I can see.
