Why are people trashing Battlefront as if it was complete shit.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's mediocre as fuck but they obviously had to rush it to match episode VII and that's also the reason they had to make something accessible by a very large audience.
But they got the atmosphere and graphics right, and it could've been way worse than that.

Actually, I was rather surprised by John Boyega's acting, he did a pretty good job. The rest of the acting though. Good fucking lord it was embarrassing when Harrison Ford was on screen. You could see and feel the massive skill gap between him and the other actors. The movie was awful though and they should have gone with the EU and just ignore some of the shittier novels.

Rey was bland, she was just another Luke but less endearing, less wide eyed and happy, and with less to learn.
Poe needed more shit to do desperately. Oscar Isaac is terrific so they should have definitely amplified his role into a more crucial one. Hell he probably would have made a better Kylo.
Kylo was just a mopey angry teenager so that played well, I'd like more back story to see why he turned to the dark side, but he was fine. Other than getting his ass handed to him by Finn and Rey who were completely untrained in the force and lightsaber combat.
The old people were just old and were what I expected.
