Was tninking of purchasing this with the rest of my Wii U library, i keep hearing how it is so much worse than the first game around here.
Biggest complaints due to how WT works and less enemy juggle. Should i pass?

At a very very high skill level, it is more frustrating for sure, with the points being counted inconsistently and enemies that dodge out of nowhere or block everything.
To the average person, it is more forgiving than the first but also more dynamic, prettier and has a LOT more stuff to do and unlock. They drop the ball with the story, but it has its cool moments and ties nicely with the first game's events.
Personally, I say you should definitively not pass it. It comes with the first game anyway, so it's not like you're missing it.

Speaking as someone who loves the first one to death, 2 is not that much worse. Its WAY more chaotic though, and it revels in that. The new Umbran Climax ability (basically devil trigger on steroids) fills the screen with tons of shit every combo and they throw bigger enemies at you to compensate.
Even aside from combat, the game tries to overload you with visual spectacle. You know all the crazy shit that happens at the end of the first game in that lumen city? Most of the second game is like that. The Lumen Sage fights are basically Jeanne 3 every time he shows up.

I absolutely love both Bayonettas.
There are some differences with gameplay, but it doesn't affect Bayonetta 2 at all. The only thing that makes 1 better is that it actually had a climactic, satisfying ending.

Bayo 1 had the more refined/disciplined combat and challenge I'd say, but I really liked Bayo 2's general story and fun more.

My favorite set that I took to the end of the game was

Seriously, Umbran Climax with the bow was just stupid. Super safe, giant range, and you could even charge it up if the opening was there.

Hands: Sword/ Secondary bow
Legs: Main Chainsaw/ Secondary Whip
the speed and low damage was good to make combos, and once jugled, chainsaw and whip to Damage deal
Bow was as you said, RANGE
2 improves on everything in 1. Maybe someone that makes "true style" videos or competes in combo contests would say otherwise.
Although I will say hits in 1 felt like they had more impact and weight. 2 doesn't have "bad impact" however. 1 just might have slightly better.

I just couldn't do it. It seemed like such a boring weapon. It didn't even really have combos, it was just a really wide hit every time. Everything felt so samey with them.

w101 you NEED to learn how to switch between weapons really quickly, and you need to learn which attacks you dodge and which attacks you counter

Every time you enter Witch Time you can hold attack with Alruna to throw enemies around everywhere, even the giant ones. With smaller enemies, you don't even need them to be stunned or in WT. Shit's just really really useful.

W101 is a continued conscious effort by Kamiya to streamline and remove unneeded weight from the action genre it has collected since DMC1.

Splatoon is way more fun than I can put into words, don't really know why. Also, addictively competitive.
The servers are far from dead and untill Splatoon 2 is announced and released it will probably keep getting players. What sucks is that I don't think there'll be any more Splatfests after July or August. They bring in a lot of new players and are a good opportunity to improve your gear.
