Because it is almost literally the equivalent of a modern movie. Most of which, people forget about nearly immediately. It's amazing when their attention spans focus on it for a month and then they no longer give a shit, which speaks of its real quality.

I'm 12 hours in and still struggling to get the will 'beat' it. It's so goddamn fucking boring to 'play'. Biggest chore I've ever experienced in video games.

Dark Souls III took me 30 hours on first playthrough and it went by in a flash. Uncharted 4's first 12 hours feel like a fucking eternity has past.
