Is there any point in getting an xbone or should i just upgrade my pc and get windows 10?
Full idort here, xbone is comfy and functions nicely as a home entertainment center (netflix streaming, video rental, blu-rays, etc)
PC is better but to see a significant difference in performance you're going to be looking at like a $1200+ build don't believe the musturd rice posters who say you can build a functional budget computer for $400
It basically comes down to how often you play games and how much money you have. PC is definitely worth the investment if you can afford it but if you just want to play less than 10 hours a week on your couch I'd go with a console.

Yeah man I have a ps4 and xbone but I usually go xbone for multiplats (that aren't on PC) because I like the controller more, the download speeds aren't like 800kbs and they tend to run more stable.
ps4 I just keep around for the odd exclusive like ni-oh and horizon zero dawn I guess

I have an xbone and ps4 and i get way more use out of the xbone. I honestly dont even know why i bought the ps4. Some faggots at work were saying how hype it was going to be and i bought into the memes that the ps4 was leagues stronger than the xbone but it didnt end up that way.
The moral of the story is. Go with where your friends are at. My close friends got an xbone and these fags from work peer pressured my weak ass into getting a ps4. Better exclusives, controller, and online. Just like the 360 last gen. Sonys last good console was the ps2

If you do like halo though, it's tempting since you have pretty much every halo game worth giving a shit about (CE/A, 2/A, 3, ODST, 4, Wars in 8 months, 5, Wars 2 in 8 months) running natively on it in one way or another at 1080p/60fps and Reach works via backwards compability

This is actually false. The ps4 isnt that much stronger and developers try to make it process a lot more functions. Resulting in more frame drops and similar things. Xbone games are stuck at 720/900p and dont overcompensate for hardware it doesnt have. Plus xbox consoles always for some reason have better color and black usage
