so I started Mabinogi and met these two boys, they're brothers I think, after 3 days one of them wants to marry me (ingame marriage)
He's giving me free stuff and paying for the marriage and I thought why not it wouldn't hurt.. I don't love him but I just want the free stuff
later he starts giving me cheap stuff.. like storebought brand cheap stuff.. I ask him what's the deal and he says he doesn't have money so I get fed up and force divorce him and stopped talking to him, ever since then he's been really moody from his status message.. I kinda felt bad but then his brother contacted me and told me "hey what's the deal" and then told me "if you want a guy who treats you right look to me" and starts giving me free stuff.. well I dont want to go through any drama so I take his stuff and quit the game.. I haven't logged in for 4 years

every single guild i've been in has had the people that love filling the banks with raid food, the people that come help with a content gate, the person that likes to craft and hand out outfits, etc. don't ever really have to pretend anything just be a bit social and get involved.

I pretend to be a girl in every MMO I play. And everyone always believes I'm a girl. I never get much free stuff though, so I think people exaggerate that part. It is easier for me to get into groups and good guilds though and I get A LOT of attention. People always want to do stuff with me, or talk/hang out.
I did get free stuff sometimes though. And always getting loot priority is nice also. I remember when TBC released I was the first Blood Elf paladins to reach max level on my server. And of course I had a girly name, and everyone thought I was a girl. I ended up getting practically begged to join a high end guild, and basically got every drop in Kara given to me over anyone else. Was literally god mode in PvP.

I did not pretend to be a girl at first, many assumed I was a quiet girl and to this day I don't know why. Some ended up giving me free stuff in-game, eventually they wanted to send me IRL stuff like a PS Vita or N3ds, even got a new computer out of it.
Last guy who sent me an endgame PC made me feel so guilty for not telling him my real gender(he never asked to begin with) I began to play along and pretend I'm female for almost a year before "breaking up", I legitimately felt bad for him despite telling him. I used a friend that would do anything for me, asked her for pictures and such for him. He would say I made him happy, he started working harder, got multiple promotions at his job. At least one of his best friends moved with him and he's not alone anymore.
