I like Winston.because I play on PS4 and aiming is impossible with a controller. Too bad none of my friends got it on PC.
Tracee is my favourite hero. Even as a Brit I find her accent annoying but all the stuff she says is very British. Also, butts.

I like Winston too but I'll be damned if I bring that big fuck to any Attack or Defense mission. He's solid on any KOTH stage but I feel he has limited viability on others. That said I will dedicate myself to harassing the everloving shit out of a Mercy, Widowmaker or Hanzo. It's what he's there for anyway. To go after squishies and make sure they don't have fun.
I find Tracer annoying as all shit but I like being irritating with her. There's nothing worse than a semi-competent Tracer that knows when to blink, where to blink and will generally stay on your ass. I acknowledge Genji is the same way but fuck Genji.
Reaper is cool because he's absolutely braindead. Hide in spots then hold a button until someone dies. I enjoy him alot because of the burst damage he deals. I like to bring him out when the other team shits out some tanks that's being problematic.

She's always alive and always in the air and it's getting fucking old. Don't know what they're gonna do to fix her but I hope it comes with our first console patch.
I liked it initially but I've been on a 19 game losing streak in quickmeme. With the exception of 7 games that were close and fun, all of them have been varying degrees of steamrolled. I actually haven't played in 2 days because of it.
Also, of those steam rolls every time my team is largely comprised of level 5-15 players with the enemy team having two or more level 40+ players. I know level isn't indicative of skill but it is indicative of familiarity with the game and it's levels and heroes and that does give an advantage.

Widowmaker is her bane. One full charged bodyshot followed by another is enough to put her out of the game each and every time. My accuracy is completely fucking horrid on the console though so I sometimes wait until a Pharah is falling to earth before I decide to fuck her with whatever hero I'm using.
Torbjorn is op against tracer. His turret should have to lock on after every blink. The same goes for Genji's dash. It should also take longer to lock on.

yo /v/ I bought this game and I played ~60 games now and I have the feeling that I can't really get into it.
I don't know if it is the general playstyle of the game or the specific heroes. there is so much shit going on all the time you need to have ADD to keep up with the pace.
also why the fuck do you die so fucking fast? I get that there are classes like DPS and tank and defense and shit but god damn I have the feeling that the squeeshier heroes get rekt so fucking fast unless you have some escape skill like Tracer or Reaper.
the dmg that the heroes deal is just way too high. or they have not enough health. a 1on1 is most of the time running around each other for 3 sec until one lands 2-3 shots.
or that reaction time on the dwarf's turrets (don't know his name right now) you can't outplay them for shit. they hit you as soon as you look just a bit out of your cover. heck I even got demolished as fuckin Tracer while going full speed.
I am playing solo so there is basically no team interaction. at first I thought I am having a bad experience right now because of that but seeing death recaps of Hanzos killing me while shooting arrows blindly in all directions or Junkrat just doing their ult and getting a triple kill wih no effort is just so fucking discouraging for me right now.
Am I just getting too old for the new games nowadays or what? just give me your opinion on the game. for me as a solo player it is not as good as I thought it would be.

I'd reduce it's overall rate of fire since whenever it's proposed that the damage takes a hit everyone gets up in arms. Failing that, though, I'd make it so that it can't turn past a certain point or raise it's head so that flanks are viable strategies, not face-tanking the fucking thing head on or playing peekaboo while you eat damage that it's laser guided horseshit lands on you. I'd also like damage falloff because I don't feel it should be a solid 14 at all fucking distances.

I really want to get gud with more heroes (suck at the snipers for example) before ranked comes, but every time I try to get used to/master a new hero I suck balls and the team always gets wrecked.
You have to get gud in public matches because playing against bots won't be nearly as effective, but people will yell at you for sucking because they don't understand that.

I think Volskaya is just kinda shitty for Symm, I think she's super underrated on KotH. Worst in the game on point and payload attack, don't get me wrong, but her teleporter speeds up the process of getting to the point while sentries slow down theirs. Shields are always useful too.
Another thing is that Symm is really surprisingly powerful at taking out a large number of enemies in a close space. So on KotH you can easily take out like 3 guys just using primary fire if you get the drop on them.

I'd sooner bring her to Ching Chong Tower than I would Nepal. Seems like every Symmetra I've ever faced gets ran the hell over on that stage.
But in that one particular stage in Lijiang Tower--the one where the point is in the middle and thus easily accessible by flying characters or characters with enhanced movement? Yeah I can't figure out where to my turrets. Ever. I've come to realize that Symmetra is far more useful when she's dedicating herself to shutting down potential lanes. Weaving a web of hard-light constructed death to annoy the enemy is a tremendously underrated aspect of forcing players to either slow down and combat the turrets or find an alternative means of access--which is where the other 5 players come in as it's their job to watch for those avenues and process the threats accordingly.
