The only logical reason for why the katanas wouldnt break on impact with the knights armor is literal magic.

I played the beta. The game was very fun and looked great graphically. There were some issues, maps felt kind of dead for supposed to be battles, since there would only be one point where AI soldiers collided. Also, there's no way to fight two people at once effectively, so if that happened, you were royally fucked. Lastly, the Samurai were overpowered as fuck because of their poison. It seems like it'll be a good game, but it just feels weird when you play it and these things occur.
