People that prefer physical buy it when they can. Especially collectors. But those who can't for whatever reason tend to buy digital as a last option. I think most vita fanbase prefers physical but sony is too cheap most of the time to accommodate that.

I enjoyed it for what it's worth, got it for $5. It still has that Lego problem of enemies being invincible as you hit them which drives me crazy, but there's a decent amount of content, there's a pretty decent amount of variety in terms of areas and playable characters(Though anything not a main character is basically just a reskin of a generic character with maybe a slight change in their clothes at best), and it's got an overworld which I'm not used to in Lego games still.
Don't pay more than $20, but under that it's cool.

The shape of the home and start/select buttons is perhaps the most obvious thing. On the 1000 models, they're thin ovals, on the 2000 models, they're circles.
Dungeon travelers 2 is shit. I've yet to see any interesting in the game after 10 hours, so I guess good dungeon design and great game mechanics come into play postgame or something. And all the fan service pandering harem level shit in between doesn't help. Fuck that game. Biggest buyer's regret I've got in years.

On handhelds, EO is probably most entertaining series i've played, but I did also like some others like dark spire and SMT:SJ. On vita, demon's gaze was just okay. Haven't tried operation abyss yet, it's sealed for now because DT2 managed to kill my interest in dungeon crawlers for a while.

umm what? Don't you see the tree when you're selecting your next class with the class names for the ones that come after it?
Though I will say that not being able to view the skills until you select the class was annoying but in the end since you can level reset to the same level as when you can change your class (15 and 30) you can just reset your level to your current one to see what skills the other classes have and then make your decision after taking the skills into consideration. That's what I did, and I even took screenshots to remember the skills.

However, the fact that you can't see class skills before taking the class, or that skill descriptions are pretty much useless out of very basic info, are not. It's just shitty design.

If you want to plan ahead you use a wiki or something so you can get exact formulas and know everything exactly before going in like in any other game.
That's why basic descriptions that just tell you what the skill does are alright.
You don't need to know skills for other classes in advance because whenever you unlock it you get to try everything as much as you want.
And honestly in these games there's no better way to figure out how things work than trying them in actual battle, that's why giving you the leeway of infinite resets is fucking amazing to me and something that you don't see in many other games.

If you like shitty planning then sure, no game will ever lay out all the info you need to plan your route to endgame with no obstacles, if you want your min maxed route planned you'll always have to check somewhere else. thankfully in this game you can just play it and figure it out by yourself (which is better because you get your results firsthand).

Both are fine choices with very little difference, honestly. The Vita 1000 (original) is generally considered to be made of more premium materials and all around has a nicer, more solid feel to it. The most noticeable difference lies in the screen, which is of much higher quality on the 1000 model than on the 2000 (slim) model. If you have the 2000 model on it's own you won't notice a thing, the games will still look very nice, but if you hold them side by side you will notice the 2000 model has more muddled/washed out colors and a bit of a yellowish green tint to everything. The advantage to the 2000 model having this inferior screen however is that the battery on it will last longer (giving you about a couple extra hours I believe). And while the 2000 model is made of cheaper material, I've heard it's supposed to be more comfortable to hold in the hands, it having a more ergonomic design. I also think that the 2000 model costs a little bit less, but I could be wrong about that one.
You can't really go wrong either way. If you care about having a more premium feel and really vibrant colors, and don't mind paying a few extra bucks, go with the 1000. If you don't mind having a slightly inferior screen and cheaper feel but want the longer battery life and more ergonomic feel, go with the 2000.
