It's far comfier in SP, Online has a ton of shit ripped out, a hell of a lot less ambient stuff going on in terms of animals, pedestrians, clutter etc simpler effects, the works.

The rain is the only good part of gta 5
I want to play GTA 5 online only to roleplay as a prostitute, refuse to drive characters and look sexy standing on a sidewalk.
Then I remember I have to do a bunch of lame, boring shit to get money for apartments and outfits, so I don't even bother.
Also I'm stuck with the PS3 version that I'm sure is slower than both PC and PS4 combined.

Has anyone here tried to go back to GTA3? Not VC or SA, the original.
There really isn't much there. I mean games may not necesarily age, but they can certainly be a sign of the time they were made in. No one back then ever tried to make a sandbox game of that scale before, so it really was something amazing.
But VC alone just blew it out of the water and made it so you never needed to go back.

There were a few actually, even dating right back to the Amiga there was stuff like Hunter, and even prior to GTA 3 DMA made Body Harvest on the 64, Driver 2, Shenmue, Urban Chaos etc
GTA 3 was just the first to do it really fucking well.
This game is actually incredibly boring. Waste of $60 freedom dollars.

This is for sale on Steam right now, someone convince me to buy it. Does the First Person mode control like an actual FPS, or does it just place the camera in my characters face and continue to control like a 3rd person game?
I had this game on 360, was like level 130-150.

I was thinking about getting it on PC, but I have the same concern I have with every GTA game on PC
It's either: A)use controller, much more fun to drive, or B)Use keyboard+mouse, necessary to be competitive in multiplayer but a snore to drive

Online is fun with a group of friends
Had like a group of 7 + friends that I played with until around level 70.
I've done mastermind with an entirely different group lmao. Just the best players - got togheter, because with friends it was 10/10 times just random deaths, and laughing more than concentrating.
After that friends quit - I played until close to level 100 - then got bored.. since I started to be mostly alone.
Exploited 100 - 140 in one day and quit the game - this is my story.
Without friends gta online would be a waste of time - unless you grind a little and decide to do mastermind challenge - you'll be able to find 3more dedicated people and actually have fun - then it's time to quit.

Not anymore. Rockstar abandoned the ones who couldn't afford a PS4 or Xbox1. I thought that it was just a technical problem with the older consoles, but after Rockstar stopped giving PS3 and Xbox 360 players double money weekends and giving everything to only the PS4 and Xbox1 people, I realized that Rockstar had went to shit and is now starting to act like Activision. They're not as awsome as they were years ago. Just wait, their next game's going to be GTA again.

I hate the amount of hackers in this fucking game. 50% of the players I try to kill have godmode.

It's not hard to steal a jet in the first place, and unless they added the lazer or whatever it was to pegasus, paying for a jet is retarded if you don't legitimately like flying one in GTA. Most jets you can buy aren't armed, and I never had a problem with those.
So does the game have content now? I played it when it first released for about a month and completely ran out of things to do with friends
