>when the game has very solid gameplay mechanics and art direction, but the level design, writing and damn near everything isn't
>and the game doesn't even let you properly apply the mechanics to their full potential
I thought level design was fine. Wasn't the most lived in sandbox ever, but the open ended tactical stealth was about as good as it gets except maybe Arma if you're autistic enough for it. Just a shame it's a lowsy metal gear game. Regardless of Konami pulling the plug, all the villains and dialogue was hokey as shit, even for an mgs game. Or maybe the realistic setting and grim tone was just more incongruous with mgs hammyness than usual. Either way, good game, bad mgs game.
>Skyrim is not without its flaws. As an RPG it’s fairly shallow, many of the quests are stiflingly linear, and the stealth is terrible – but the feeling of freedom it gives you is irresistible.
>The sheer scale of the thing, and the variety of quests, is enough of a distraction. And the world is so beautiful, sometimes I play just to go for a wander.
>Nothing beats the first time you leave that dingy cavern behind and see the world spread out before you, but even if you know...

I thought entering the world in morrowin and even oblivion was much much better when they came out. All I saw were shitty mountsins, forests that don't look anything like actual forests and a shitty town with a chicken that made everyone pissed off. The only good thing in the entire game was that underground blue area.
>Head of Royal Family Guards
>One of the three strongest fighters in Lucis
>He is a true man of honor who takes his vows to his king and country very seriously.
>Isn't in the movie Kingsglaive
>Isn't the head of the Kingsglaive
>No mention at all in Kingsglaive
You do realize that those spoilers are very incomplete? Lunafreya, the three giants, Iedolas, Ardyn etc. aren't really talked about either, even though non-spoiler impressions mention them. Wait a few days until the movie comes out.
Find a flaw

What is the 'Dark Souls' of sports games?
Is it 'Punch-Out!!'?
It is as much of a sports game as Burger Chef is a cooking game. It's more of a puzzle to be honest.
this is the best walking sim ever.
it's short, sweet, and beautiful. no other comes close.
Why does everyone hate me?
Her frying pan is from Super Mario RPG, her turnips are from SMB2 etc.
But where the fuck does her ass attack come from?
>Picking Bastion on attack
>Teammate picks Reinhardt
>Sit behind his shield as we push forward, causing enemy team to scatter and get picked off because they don't want to be in the line of fire from a shielded Bastion
>Sitting on the payload as a moving turret that heals
Bastion is almost objectively better on attack than he is on defense
>Decide to actually play Bastion
>Teammate picks Reinhardt
>He stands directly in front of me completely blocking my view making it impossible to shoot anything and he refuses to move over a bit no matter how much I tell him to
IT'S THE 13TH CENTURY
What is your excuse /v/?
Happy American day /v/!
What game should I play to make me feel like a REAL American? (I'm a muslim immigrant)
i'm on the fence.
It is really good or not?
Is it worth 3.74 on Steam?
Yeah. It's a usual Obsidian product, though; focus on story and roleplaying over decent gameplay. The small changes in story if you take different routes makes replays worth it IMO, but the shitty mechanics might ruin that for you.
They at least put it through one round of bug-testing, though.
Also, fuck SIE.
