>mfw managing to play old games in japanese after one year of study
I know all the grammar but I still don't know how to read kanji.
>learn kanji pronunciation
cant guess how to read a word anyways
>learn word by memory
but you forget/confuse the kanji
>learn kanji stroke / meaning to help differentiate
but you don't which pronunciation is use and which are never used
So, I'm on Smash Bros for Wii U after not playing it for a couple of months and I'm trying to join a For Glory Tourney but they all get canceled due to not meeting the minimum required participants.
Since we can't create a normal bracket online I'm wondering if it's possible to gather the required amount of people to completely fill a bracket and using it for our own tourney.
Want to try this with a small brackets first so we will need 8 people to try this. Does anyone want to attempt this with me?
It's more likely to work if you go to the general. Sadly, there are only faggots with an inflated ego there.
In the other hand, maybe timezones and the such will make this not go as smoothly. You're better off getting in FFA /v/eekends tourneys (some people are down to do Teams in a separate room if FFA are too much)
Quick /v/! Save the Princess with video games related content!
Enjoy me while you can, /v/...
I feel my days are limited.
I loved and played the absolute shit out of Demons Souls and Dark Souls, I also really enjoyed Bloodborne despite it lacking in replayability. However I could not bring myself to finish Dark Souls 2, even the Scholar of the First Sin edition.
Am I alone? or are there people like me?
The game is a broken piece of shit.
Is it just me, or is MGR the best Metal Gear game?
Does anyone else prefer consoles?
they're just weaker, more limited computers that I can't use my mouse/keyboard on
if i want to play gamecube games, i just plug my gamecube controller into my pc and emulate it
but i'd never do that, because luigi's mansion sucks
Can anyone recommend any games similar to STALKER? Ive got over 2000 hours on the series collectively and I want to try other FPS/RPGs
Linear like SoC or open world like CoP, makes no difference
Alternatively, STALKER thread
It actually is
The soundtrack, classic zones, characters, other players, community and world were just amazing in 2004-2008
Are you good enough to solve this mystery, /v/?
I need videogames that feature artificial languages
Good theory videos:
>Phone guy says the animatronics will think you're a naked endoskeleton and try to stuff you into a suit
>There are naked endoskeletons in the back that they don't try to stuff into suits
>Phone guy says that the animatronics have facial recognition software that is hooked up to criminal databases

This is probably the most generic question ever but you see, I have some extra cash and I'm planning to spend it in a couple of PS3 games.
I don't know much of its catalogue, or what's good or bad, basically i'm a casual.
So I'm curious about what you guys consider your fav ps3 games, or what you consider the best games of the platform.
And when it comes to my tastes... I just ordered Little Big Planet 3.
3D Dot Game Heroes
Yakuza 3 - 5
Everybody's Golf World Tour
Metal Gear Solid Legacy
Armored Core For Answer
Various HD collections, like ICO - Shadow of the Colossus, Zone of the Enders, Sly, et al
How would you improve fighting games?
Real talk, why does it seem pic related is the most popular in the series?
I ask out of genuine interest because I have not played a single final fantasy game (had a Genesis, was too poor to also have a SNES, and for the NES we only had the very first Zelda and a handful other games, and played PC through the 90s, have never owned a PlayStation of any generation). And it looks like it might be a good series to play.
FF7 was a breakthrough in the genre when everything before it was 2D and it was practically a perfect transition from it. It had a fuckton of content and lots of secret stuff you'd miss out if you didn't scour its world.
It was 3D FF done right.
Took all that was good about FF and made it 3D. Of course some people will still prefer previous games in the series but I don't think it's unreasonable to say VII was the peak. It came just at the right time, all the elements were strong and hasn't really been matched since.
