Since 2015 is coming close to the end, what is your top 5 games of this year, /v/?
I don't think I've played a single game made this year
>>320212947
1.Witcher 3
2. MGSV
3. Arkham Knight
4.Dragon Quest Heroes
5. ???
1. Sm4sh
2. Undertale
3. Fallout 4
4. Rivals Of Aether
5. Mario Maker
Just a quick poll to see where /v/ stands in vidya.
http://strawpoll.me/6271962There is no inbetween.
>Akagi tried to warn us all those years ago
>now SJWs have all but destroyed the industry
why did /v/ let Kenshiro win?
Moralfag all the way, baby.
>>320212853
It really depends on the playable character.
I haven't played this in months, I think I quit roughly before arbalest was added.
I had heart the game had gotten too casualized and became worse, is it true? Is it still worth playing?
>>320212623
lurking
>>320212623
>I had heart the game had gotten too casualized
no, they made the game harder by introducing heart attacks, corpse bodies, preventing one-enemy-left abuse, etc which turned a lot of players off. pretty much the opposite of what you're trying to describe
there's about 2 hours more of content for this game now than there was when it was first released as early access. the new classes are fun to mess with for about 30 minutes.
>>320213719
The Abomination is a great class if you have a jester on the team
Less than 2 months away.
Who else is excited?
I haven't played a Digimon game in ages, and this looks great.
Not to mention it doesn't have the shitty death mechanic of re:digitize.
>Gabumon yukking it up on Omnimon-chan
I can't wait. Call me a genwunner or whatever, but seeing the Agumon line in action again will feel so good
>>320212469
I'm more excited than I should be, but that has a lot to do with the fact that I haven't really touched Digimon in years so it feels nice to look forward to it.
>>320212751
I like how they give the older mons better new forms.
Like Victorygreymon
Hey /v/, so it's currently finals, had my first exam a couple days ago and my next ones not for a while so i got some time to kill before I go home for the holidays. I got my PC in my dorm and have just been playing online shooters, but I feel like playing something comfy I can play with a controller from my bed while I get high as fuck. Any recommendations? I'm not usually into turn-based but I'm willing to make an exception here. Also nice graphics is a plus but not required.
should probably mention I want something with a good story that has nothing to do with nuclear fallout
>>320212258
Have you tried the Kotor games? I know the steam version of 2 has controller support
>>320213019
Never been into Star Wars, is it still a decent game if I have no context?
Is Mass Effect 3 worth playing? I played 1 and 2 but I cancelled my preorder for 3 when the word came out that they soiled the ending. Is it at least worth pirating?
If you've got nothing better to play then go for it.
/v/ likes to pretend everything about it was a travesty. The fact of the matter is that the ending is pretty much the only thing BioWare fucked up.
The game itself is still fun to play.
Sure, it's worth a pirate if you want to see how the series ties up the major plots. Install MEHEM so you don't have to subject yourself to the vanilla ending.
Multiplayer is fun
So I'm bored, don't feel like browsing /v/ or watching videos.
Tell me what to play.

>>320212326
Oh really?
>>320212351
>>320212139

How many of you would be interested in a real time strategy game with call backs to command and conquer, but representing a realistic approach, by offering intuitive detailed gameplay with a small learning curve though?
Something with isometric style graphics, but in a fake way essentially. Resulting in a superior graphical style than actual older isometric RTS titles
I was thinking either modern (1990-2020) or WW2
Perhaps even modular sides as well as a long campaign with an engaging story. With cinematics via pixil art papers please style.
I'd try it if it was less than 20 USD
>>320212003
I think that's the price point I'd aim for, with a 10 or 15 dollar expansion pack or stand alone game.
I think optional expansions like company of heroes 2 and its new factions are a good way to go in terms of extra content that is worth paying for
What is the !*BEST GAMEOVER?*!

Yep, redhead loli, in everything.
http://gematsu.com/2015/12/six-minutes-resident-evil-0-wesker-mode-gameplay
>not 7 seven minutes
dropped
I don't really know that much about Resident Evil lore but shouldn't he not have those powers yet? Didn't he 'die' after Resident Evil 1 and the first time it ever shows him alive again with the glowing eyes is Code: Veronica?
>>320211078
Wesker mode sounds cool and all, but not in a classic RE styled game. It's far too restrictive.
>>320211078
>7 seven
>>320211363
>should not he not
When will this meme end
>>320211018
But I like cute girls.
>not wanting to be a cute girl
>>320211018
It could be worse
you could be forced to play as some shitty fucker like Raiden or Tidus
What is your favorite video game to play in the middle of the night, when you're all alone?
>>320210917
any type of picross
Casual sports games and almost sports games
>laying on bed browsing on my phone
>guy behind me must be inside my bed
I'm already dead.
I never played any Star Wars games. Are there any good ones for the pc?
>>320210891
Most of them actually but namely the Dark Forces/Jedi Knight series
>>320210891
Force Unleashed 1 is really fun.
Force Unleashed 2 is okay but pretty bullshit.
Honestly if you want a game where you can just fuck people's shit up as an over powered space wizard, then Force Unleashed 1 is your best bet.
>>320210891
flight sim X-Wing/Tie Fighter
arcade flight Rogue Squadron
RTS Galactic Battleground or Empire at War
FPS/TPS Republic Commando or Battlefront
RPG Kotor
Action Jedi Knight series
