Serious question: Has a mainstream console ever been abandoned faster than the Wii U? 3 years is not a long lifespan for console. To give some perspective to this, the 360 is gonna outlive it and that was released in 2005.
It hasn't been abandoned yet you cretin. We haven't even had any of the major 2016 releases (Star Fox, Zelda) Granted, yes, it still had a short lifespan compared to the SNES and Wii, but 4 years is pretty average for a console, especially considering the NX is likely going to launch late next year, or early 2017.
What are some games with large, interesting worlds that you can explore? I've already played the modern TES and Fallout games. TW3 looks good, but my computer can't handle it.
MMOs are acceptable I guess.
>Baldurs gate, neverwinter nights.
Already played most of the old BioWare games. They're great, but not really what I'm looking for.
While the worlds in those games are typically well-built, they're not what I would call immersive, and rarely was I actually interested in exploring the world itself. In games like that, I'm usually pursuing the story and characters, and exploring the world is simply a consequence of that.
This is in contrast to something...

What is the best SNES RPG and why is it Earthbound?
The Hokkaido vs. Nohr question is settled. There's a clear answer unless you're a casual. The real debate is:
>be impregnated as the cutest girl in the game
>impregnate a slightly less cute girl as Raiden from the Metal Gear Solid series
Why don't we call ourselves PCmaster race anymore?
After all, we DID coin the term.
Is SWTOR good now?
never has, never will.
we lost swg for this
Why aren't you playing the best platformer of the year?
What did you think, /v/?
IT'S OVER KONAMI, I HAVE THE HIGH GROUND

hello buddies, why don't we talk about disgaea?
maybe rate the games or talk about how it's the best SRPG series even trumping classic games like FFT and the Fire Emblem series.
I'd recommend you to start with the very first one because of its story being the best one of the series, its gameplay is the weakest however, wich is why you should play it first because if you, lets say, start with the one with the best gameplay (Disgaea 5) you will cringe at the first and probably wont pick up.
Also dont play DD2, that shit should die alone.
Other than playing the first go with the one that picks your interest.
>tfw Nippon Ichi will never make another Mystery Dungeon clone
Which one had the worst soundtrack?
Should I buy this? I remember playing the first one and liking it ages ago on PC, then I played the second one and the only things I remember about it were the woman's (was she the main antagonist?) five star ass and that I could not finish the game because a glitch kept making me fall through the ground. I never played the third one.
