So does anyone know the best/quickest strategy if you want to spend no money / as little as possible? Should I unlock alt-world ASAP?
Only a year? I figured it would be longer considering mega evolution levels cost 500 each + every new area costs a bunch etc. I'm on the 5th area now IIRC. But I'm wondering if I should keep just getting areas or would alt-world be a better investment? Do you need to unlock areas again in alt-world or do you have access to the same levels?

Personally, I thought it was pretty terrible, but a lot of people like it. Way too many cliches dialed up to eleven, like it was trying to be the most generic anime in existence, but made into a game.
