Why did studios suddenly stop making Dune video games?
>tough to beat Dune 2
>nobody that is still alive except for those that enjoyed Dune 2 for nostalgic reasons would even touch that game
le old game best game meme (2 players online worldwide)
wait, that's it? that's seriously it?
am I missing something here? the colony is the whole game? the mars mission is in the second game?
is this the biggest cliffhanger in all of vidya history? Not 2 chapters of a story, but just one story split in half
people actually defend this? or was this game never sold like a full priced game, kinda like MGS ground zeroes?
>was this game never sold like a full priced game, kinda like MGS ground zeroes?
Quite the opposite.
It was a demo of MGS2 being sold for the same price as a full game. There was some other weeb mech shit on the disc too but nobody cared about that.
ZOE was an early PS2 game. It was impressive because it ran at 60FPS and had fast paced mech combat. The only other game that was remotely like it at the time was Omega Boost and that was mostly an on rails shooter for the PSX.
The reason the game sold well was because it included the demo for MGS2.
Why is this allowed?
So recently I've broken my leg and I'm going to have lots of free time. Recommend me some good comfy vidya
That shit ain't comfy it's stressful as fuck
I've been replaying Shenmue. It's comfy as fuck. Once you get pasted the uncanny valley NPCs and dated controls it's fun just to wander around and talk to people and explore.
>Best selling game on Steam is weebshit
How do we fix PC gaming?
Where is my $379 GTX 1070
Where is my $199 RX 480
Why are they lying to us
>socially awkward faggots siting this far apart with their arms crossed
>no talking at all through an entire run
Maybe he told them he would prefer it if they were quiet.
Why do people even watch this shit? How can any one derive any kind of entertainment from watching people rush through a video game? How? i am a literal sperglord autist and even i don't understand this horse shit.
>2 hours of PvP
>Every invasion was a minimum 2v1
How is this fun? As an invader I don't expect any unwritten rules to be followed, don't give a fuck if you chug, but the constant stream of stun lock fights are killing me. Where do you go for some actual PvP over this shit?
>inb4 git gud
not gonna lie op i gave up on trying to solo invade and now i just do it with aldrich bros, cos at least instead of a 3v1 it'll be a 3v2 or 3. invading is dead. its rare to win against 3 unless u a parry king or the host and phantoms split up or do something dumb.
>People are actually excited to sit and watch others play video games instead of actually playing them
>People are actually excited to sit and watch others play sports instead of actually playing them
Did multiplatform contribute to DS' problems?
Demon's Souls and Bloodborne are really well constructed in comparison.
How many days off will you take for the legion release?
ITT characters that are literally you
For me it’s Daffy Duck – intelligent, nihilistic and with a wicked sense of humor.
so with the recent japan sale on EU PSN i picked up Dark Cloud, Dark Chronicle and Rogue Galaxy.
and holy shit these games look really nice.
i mean they don't run 16:9 full screen but they just look very sharp and pretty much on par with the proper PS3 HD remasters (except for not being 16:9)
i do have a PS2 constantly hooked up but since these were half the price of a used PS2 copy i decided to go for it.
and man Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy are really fucking cool, granted i for some reason expected traditional JRPGs.
either way, wich games do you want to...

Is Rogue Galaxy actually good? Worth $10?
I love JRPGs but I don't like grinding. I prefer the Final Fantasy style of JRPG where as long as you don't run from battles you never have to grind in order to finish the game. I heard Rogue Galaxy has some grinding.
