Call me whatever you want, but I'm still holding out hope that Sakurai will surprise us with Wolf when he releases Corrin and Bayonetta. He knows he's highly demanded from the ballot, and it would be quick and easy to port him over from Brawl and just tweak him for Smash 4's mechanics. Plus it would make the DLC character list nice and even all around.

Bought Mountain Blade WB.
What am I in for?
What's the combat like? Sometimes I see combat areas similar to Total War games and webms of 3rd person controlling a single soldier.
>MB:WB thread I suppose
It's p fuckin fun you just build up some dudes and then you go fight wars with them and kings and jarls will make you you're bitch they'll ask you to do shit for them like collect debts from towns and the towns will get all pissed off and revolt and you'll tell the jarl and he'll be like well I still need my fuckin money nigga and you'll be in a lot of debt and be like fuck
4chan, I do need your help. I need a game, basically, to get lost there, something, where nothing would rub me the wrong way. There was one such game, which was perfect for me in times like this. It was called "Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor" (and yes, I do know, that it's universally considered a horrendous pile of dogshit, I really loved that game though and it became very special to me, I dunno why, it just did). But I have already completed it, and starting it once again simply wouldn't work. I saw all there was to be seen in that game.

... no LSD-inspired AWSHUM color palette, no AWSHUM orchestral Jeremy Soule music, no wisecracking companions which just don't shut the fuck up, no "jack in the box" random encounters and edgy scripting with spawns every 5 meters, no melodrama, no "oh you will be constantly affected via poison while on this level - and now let's see how you'll deal with these fiery guys who are impossible to be reliably hit, and now this room with unavoidable trap and an endless monster spawner"...

ITT: Hard as fuck levels.
Bunch of snes games ones that come to mind is battletoads and that pod jump section and starwars
I also struggled with a level on one of the old army men games I think world at War where you were in a gunship having to shoot down fighters if you died you had to restart from start and it was a long mission
Anyone own this and can comment on if it's worth buying on sale? I played this for a good while at a friend's house the other day and it actually seems like a decently fun intense couch co-op game, but I'm not sure if it's the kind of thing you would play more than once.
I think it's 2.50 beaver bucks right now so I might still grab it because why the fuck not, but that timeline is kind of what I was expecting. Can't believe the regular price though. Almost 20 bucks. Fucking stupid.
Also Castle best map.
Post ITT things you've done in games that you're not proud of.
I bought the season passes for WWE '13 and WWE 2k14, and I'm honestly considering buying the season pass for WWE 2k16 as well.
>Idiots who think better resolution means better graphics
Emulator faggots I'm looking at you.
All those people shitting over 4k like it was the second coming of Christ while i tell you something faggots.
I will take a game looking like Battlefront in 1080p over a shitty looking GTA V in 4k.
This is not a barrel.
It is an oil drum.
Playing anything fun next week? Or maybe you're starting something new next year?
Stopped my VC playthrough to play Undertale since someone gifted it to me. I don't usually share /v/'s opinion of "everything popular is also bad" but even I can't see what the buzz is about. It's well written I'll give it that, the soundtrack is great and the gameplay is novel, but this just doesn't feel like the groundbreaking classic it's made to be.
I started Grim Fandango yesterday. Few years ago I stopped after leaving the beginning city for some reason, so this time I'll complete it.
Also started playing M&L Partners in Time, don't like it as much as Bowsers Inside Story, but I'm just like 3 hours in.
Why is this game so universally praised? The beginning is great, but the second half of it is utter shit.
So how can the other two boss knight campaigns possibly live up to this? I can see King Knight being pretty fun but Specter Knight's skillset seems totally unsuitable for playable status.
It looks so edgy, everytime i see a gameplay of it somebody is running around with a ugly oversized 1 handed weapon and clown costume or even naked wtf, does this game have no decent looking clothes or what
I never played a Souls game but it looks interesting and the type of game i could like
Currently playing it for Pee Sizzle.
It's good. It's also edgy but not in a bad way. Unless you're one of these people people who think anything that's not female rainbow ponies talking about friendship and happiness is "edgy". That just means you're gay is all.
>Unless you're one of these people people who think anything that's not female rainbow ponies talking about friendship and happiness is "edgy". That just means you're gay is all.
What does this even mean?
I just want to look decent in this game and don't run around with weapons i don't want to play with
Does anyone else think this UI is way too futuristic for this game? It looks good on Midgar section but it will clash with the atmosphere when you get to more fantasy oriented locations like Temple of the Ancients
Yakuza 5 general
More importantly though, why was Takasugi so based?
Literally the best character introduced this game and I hope we see more of him.
I almost got RGG5 100% complete and now I bought Y5 and feel kinda burned out but still want to play comfy hunting side stories. And I also want to beat 0 on Legend difficulty. All these feels are tearing me apart
>there are people on /v/ RIGHT NOW who unironically think the Sonic Adventure series are better than the Genesis Sonic games
Why is this allowed?
