>Chicken chaser! He chases chickens!
Bought the lost chapters on Steam thanks to a random Fable thread a week ago. Major nostalgia blast to the fat Xbox.
Anyone else enjoy this?
Was my favorite game as a teen.
Then Peter released the abominations he calls "sequels."
I wish they'd release 3 and 2 on PC desu
It had so much potential as a franchise. It was a flawed game but it was fun, comfy as fuck, and relatively engaging.
Then 2 and 3 came out and they somehow had less everything than the first fucking game.
Why?
Promised an RPG, gave us Far Cry with building.

/v/ raiding the user scores for petty reasons, as usual.
>>321706803
It was way too overhyped.
What's /v/'s opinion?
best phone game i've played this year
Looks really lazy and uninspired, even at $2 it sounds like too much.
>>321706186
It's really neat! I think it's not a great experience to play on a phone because the touchscreen buttons aren't up to the task of controlling a game that demands split-second precision, but it's great on PC. Getting super-long combos by bouncing off of every enemy has yet to get old for me.
>>321706361
Well at least you admit you've never actually played it.
When people say video games are art, what are they describing exactly? What quality makes video games art?
The fact that every game in existence required some form of creative skill and imagination to produce makes them all art.
It's not very difficult to qualify something as art, to be honest.
>>322126303
This. Everything can be art. The real question should be whether video games are good art or Piss Jesus-tier art.
>>322126139
The art in video games makes video games art
Package /v/ I wonder whats inside

You know, this game really wasn't that bad, if they had lengthened it and had more arwing sections to match the amount of on foot ones it could have been the best Star Fox game to date. How did we go from Asssault to Command?
>>322125785
>wasn't that bad
I loved it.
>>322125785
Only problems with it:
>Crew losing all HP meant little, they would be right on back in the next mission w/o need for repairs.
>As you said, not really a lot of airwing maps, another 2-3 would have been wonderful, including on how well done they where already.
>We really, REALLY didn't need the 'wing walking' segments to last as fucking long as they did.
Otherwise loved the multiplayer, loved everything...

They shouldn't have done a singleplayer it should have focused on multiplayer like it was originally intended
>Ocarina of Time 3D
>certain textures are pretty blurry, particularly Darunia's face
>Wii VC
>2D elements like the UI become pixelated due to being rendered in 480p
>Wii U VC
>everything looks crystal clear
This isn't just me, is it? I play both versions of OoT anually, switching between the 3DS and original, but the Wii U VC Version looks strangely nicer.
It's being rendered in 720p, retard.
>>321705816
Yeah that looks good.
QUESTION! That for some reason has gone over my head completely for the past year.
Does the Wii U version still have the issues that the virtual console version has? The white lines at seams, the occasional missing auto-jump detection (notably in parts of Death Mountain), and inaccurate feel to the controls?
Or is it a better emulator?
I used to think it was just the game, until I injected the ROM from every version of Ocarina of Time I could find from Wiiso.com...

Remember the golden rule, if you have nothing nice to say, shut up.
This game wasn't THAT bad. It's at least a 7. You just had way too high expectations because muh Hideo Kojima. Yeah the ending was kinda messy but in the end the game was fun. And people accusing it to be repetitive are the very reasons of it being repetitive for them. The side ops were similar but the ways you can do a mission like are infinite. It's all in the hands of the player.
>>322125373
The Ending was missing and it lacked things to do in the open world.
All the Side Ops were the same thing over and over again.
I enjoyed it, but its clearly not finished.
They should have released the editing software and set up steamworks.
9/10 game
6/10 mgs game

6/10 movie
9/10 game
of course /v/ is gonna hate it
Gonna buy it on steam. Question is, should I just get the game, or grab the edition with all the dlc?
Is any of the dlc even worth it?
Yes, the DLC is very good.
I re-downloaded it and started to mod it but then realized I've already done everything in the game and that it was a waste of time
Yes all the DLC is fantastic. Everyone has they're least favourite but don't let that put you off playing any of them. My personal favourite is OWB even though everyone told me it was shit before I played it.
So I loaded up Doom for the first time in quite a while and I figured I'd try the highest difficulty. I always like the game of course but I never really bothered doing that. Now I've heard a lot of people say the game is easy even on the hardest difficulty but holy shit I must be bad at the game since I'm getting wrecked at every corner. Is there some kind of trick or something I should be applying or is it harder than people let on?
anyways lets talk doom if anyone's up for it. A quake is fine too.
>>321704783
Does Doomguy's helmet smell like sweat haha?
>>321704783
If you're playing on Nightmare then don't bother. id software made it as a joke difficulty. Ultra Violence is the best setting to play on.
>>321704783
Nightmare was intended for speedrunning, not regular playthroughs.
Which one is the best?
>>321704604
I like the first one a lot. I still need to play 2. And 3 wasn't horrible. I think the biggest flaw of the first game has to be the platforming segments but it is just a really fun run and shoot game.
2 was easily the best.
1 > 3 > 2
1 was the best all around package with the best story, good mechanics and interesting levels. 3 had the best gunplay and TECHNOLOGY but the story wasn't as good. 2 was 1 with a paint job a worse story than 3, and painfully bad escort missions.
>2005

What happened?
it became popular
>>321704551
They got popular and the average /v/ poster is 16. Liking popular things is totally not cool when you're 16, bro.
>>321704551
People grew up and realized how shit mobas are
Would you?
Doesn't matter, had sex.
I doubt I'd have a choice in the matter.
>>321704632
So you would?
Why did Nintendo all of a sudden start over sexualizing their female protagonists? Anyone else really bothered by this?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
muh dick is bothered by it senpai, check this 8

>sudden
You are lusting for 8====(you) arent you?
Just finished pic related and I love it. Should I buy the Joyful dlc? I've heard some anons say that it ruins the story or something like that.
Joyful is thoroughly unnecessary, but I wouldn't say it ruins the story
Play it if you want the rest of the story
DON'T if you want more sweet RPG gameness
>>321704469
If it still has the same kind of humor as the main game I could live with a different combat system.
