What the hell did you expect from a shitty weeb game that had so much hype before it was even shown?
Has Japan finally realized how shitty their own culture is?
>>321996443
Just buy it and and sell it three times more expensive as happened with the first Xenoblade game.

Youre not giving all that much op. Do it quick before slowpokes crying BOTS come.
So what kind of levels have you been making in Hotline Miami 2?Be honest: have you tried to recreate places you know in real life?
I was expecting to be able to add custom characters for custom stories, that might be implemented later but until then who knows.
That looks extremely easy

The beta craps out with any slightly complex level. Top quality programming.
People constantly say pic related was the cancer that killed JRPGs, but outside the FF franchise I never noticed any significant changes to other JRPGs. In fact before 1997 there were only a notable handful of JRPGs released in the west (and that's if you lived in the USA - if you were a yuropoor you were just fucked) and they rarely ever (if ever) sold at least a million. Yet FF7, regardless of your overal opnion of it, brought JRPGs to the mainstream and changed them from a low-selling niche genre to something that is enjoyed by everybody. Does it really boil down to just autists being upset that their sekrit club has been compromised?
>>321995848
FF7 was probably the single best thing to happen for the genre, you moron.
>People constantly say
"People" constantly say all kinds of stuff about all kinds of things, you need to work more on determining what's worth paying attention to and what isn't.
>>321995848
No, Advent Children was.
Hi /v/ i wanted to share some of my screenshots tell what you think.
is this on the lowest settings?
Why do people say the original game isn't worth playing? Its fucking great. Maybe it doesn't have as many features as newer titles, but its still got great music, is a somewhat challenging action RPG, has qt grills, good art, and lots to do around town.
Also Rune Factory thread. Post best girl.

How much better is rf4 than rf 3?
I want to play a comfy autism game while I'm off from school but paying for it sounds shitty. I'm willing to do it if it's a lot better though.
>isn't worth playing
Who says this? I really enjoyed the first too and I've recommended it before in DS threads without anyone saying anything negative about it.
>>321995419
Most people in RF threads say to skip to 3 and 4.
What's the better set piece popcorn game if I just want a dumb action thing?

This. But you can't go wrong with RotTR either. Both are pretty good.
ITT: Games that you spent hundreds hours on and completely maxed out. I'm talking autism levels of completion. Full levels for all characters, all items obtained, all secret bosses, etc.
I've logged over 500 hours into FFX and have done everything short of completely maxing out the sphere grid (making spheres out of empty nodes), which would probably take me another 500 hours at this point.
All the mainline MGS games barring 5. I stopped at the true ending.
>>321994087
Since you play FFX, I would like to ask you about your picture.
I do not remember the scene that Tidus laughed so hard that his forehead expanded. I've watched cutscenes from YouTube but not even one scene shows Tidus laughing with a large forehead. Do you know which part is it? I've played FFX more than 10 years ago and I have forgotten most of the story of it, though I can say that it's a pretty good game.

Freelancer as a child. All the special weapons, visited all the planets and flown through all the systems. That game had just the best sci-fi atmosphere and story.
I don't have high hopes for star citizen. From what I've seen, most of the money goes into the graphics. And crowdfunding means the devs are bitches to the kickstarters and cant make the game the way they want.
ITT: Horror game reccomendations.
So the only horror game I've ever played was Dead Space and I didn't even finish it because I got bored. I don't think Song of Saya counts.
So, what stands out as great/essential horror games to you, /v/? If possible, ones with themes centered around or based on loss of brain/body function would be appreciated as my number one fear is getting a bump on the noggin and being turned into a vegetable for the rest of my life.
I don't think there's any games that simulate being a vegetable.
But you might wanna try Resident Evil's Remake which is available now for Steam/PS3/PS4/360/Xbone. However it's an acquired taste so if something actiony like Dead Space bored you, you'll probably hate oldschool RE, or any Silent Hill game from 1 to 3.
Another game I can recommend would be Alien: Isolation.
Others will tell you to check out Amnesia, but I prefer Penumbra: Black Plague which is by the same devs.
>>321995165
I like the look of the gameplay of the earlier Resident Evils. I don't think that me finding Dead Space boring will effect how I feel about other games.
The thing about Dead Space is that I never felt like something new or legitimately terrifying was going to happen. There was the odd spook here and there and the run of the mill gore/body horror. But after I killed the big thing in food processing, I believe, I realized the game was following a pretty predictable pattern and kind of put it down.
>>321994054
>>321997078
Silent Hill -series, the original 4 games that is, are essential to any horror fan. They are much more psychological in their way of horror, not relying on jump-scares but creepy atmosphere and disturbing imagery. They are known for their gorgeous soundtracks and fairly deep stories.
The original Resident Evil games are obviously worth giving a shot. Especially the superb Resident Evil Remake is just outstanding survival-horror title everyone...

Who made that PS2 Berserk game? Are they still in business?
It seemed pretty faithful and like it was made with a lot of heart. Unlike the movies or this new garbage.
I think I know enough japanese by now to be able to get through the game.
>>321994043
The ps2 game has a translation patch. There was another game for Dreamcast and it was completely in English.
