I'm sorry but turn-based combat in RPGs is fucking shit.
People say it's not, but it is. There is no real skill required. It is not fun or difficult or anything like that. Most of the time it comes down to basically spamming your best attack.
On the other hand, a solid action-based combat system like the Souls or MonHun games will be much deeper and more tactical than anything an action-based combat system could ever be. It's really not even close.
When did you realize that turn-based combat is shit for lowest common denominator plebs?
So is the only person people don't like this game because it gives Samus a character arc?
Yeah, not the terrible level design, the plotholes, the braindead gameplay, the stupid pixel hunts, or Samus's personality making no sense.
>inb4 Samus has no personality in the other games
>wii u vs nx
>Wii U 5.5.0 exploit coming out this week
>Wii U emulator already runs NSMB U at 30 fps
>NX is already planned for 2016
..............ITS NOT FUCKING FAIR
Why did this game get little discussion?
Your a squid
It's because they're fucking hoooo- the boys look retarded.
Which videogames released 2015 were your three favourites this year? Template available in thread. Respect others choices, and motivate your own if you want!
Got Bloodborne for Christmas and I'm stuck on the Blood-Starved Beast. Help me /v/
What went wrong?
Literally the playerbase are dumb casuals
Take Black Desert for example, it started as a hardcore game with death penalties, looting people's corpses and challenging mobs, but the shitty community casuals who were used to playing their shitty korean grinders with no challenge started spamming the forum and crying that the game is too hard so the devs changed the game into total fucking casual garbage
Looking for a game to play with my pals. Saw ESO was on sale on Steam. Is it worth buying? You guys have any suggestions for a good multiplayer game, mmo or otherwise?
The core game will give you like 200-300 hours of quests/dungeons/pvp, but after that you'll probably need to get the DLCs and shit.
The game is fine, it just has some significant annoyances related to grinds you may or may not want. I really don't feel like typing them all, but I'll sumarize them.
>Veteran ranks mandatory which take fucking forever
>Crafting behind timed gateway

Anyone up for a comfy psp thread? Post your favorite games, r8 & h8.
Final Fantasy tactics was pretty neat.
The difficulty is fun.
PSP is olev. Got so many games for it, and not just jrpgs either. Lately I've been digging the fuck out of the Brandish remake. It's the one "fill in the map squares" game I actually desire to do so.
>game ask you to press a button/key after loading the level
I was wondering wich Final Fantasy does /v/ prefer.
So, wich FF is your favorite?
recommend an RPG that's not set in a generic medieval setting or space
>if only theres was an RPG with sheva talking on random T-Virus infected creatures in Africa
