Just picked up the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Bundle from the Steam Sale. Which one should I play first? Essential mods?
Consult this Starting Guide, and then /vg/'s General.
Play in release order, no mods - only latest patch. You CAN however also use the recommended "Starter Packs", that only contain extra bug fixes and lightweight visual mods.
Play on Master difficulty, and disable crosshair.
Do not give up in the beginning! Starting gear sucks, and first area's nothing special. Mind the bullet physics, stay low, and aim with sights, preferably to the head.
This game will be 10/10 PTSD simulator
Are you telling me it wasn't already?
>mfw mashing this with battle sound videos
>been on early access for 2 years
>still only goes on sale at 15%
Is this game good yet?
IT'S THE COVENANT
/v/ what were some things that made you shit yourself in non-horror vidya related stuff.
Pic extremely fucking related.
Massive graphical bugs/errors. Still creeps me out to this day.
Anyone else kinda looking forward to this? It reminds me a little bit of Mercenaries from what I've seen
I'll give it credit for absolutely confusing me when they first revealed it. I had no clue what the fuck it was supposed to be. It's definitely seems like it's doing some things I've never seen.
But it's Ubisoft. So I'm expecting it to end up being another generic open world game by the time it comes out.
I don't play many open world games anymore, so I'm not as burnt out on them. I know it'll probably be optimized badly though. Rainbow six was ok, but not sure if it's the same team
Do you have a moment to talk about our Goddess Empress of All Vidya, Lightning Farron?
By "assets", you mean "armpits", I hope.
>admins delete a perfectly okay ss13 thread
What are some of your favorite traitor things to do ingame?
ITT: Post games that /v/ think are great but are just slightly above average. The "dial a combo system" sucks.
I agree overall but this isnt the average kind of average
A part of the game is fucking brilliant and the other fucking sucks.
So in the final balance its an "average" game, but if you can handle the very bad things and focus on the very good things, its a very good game.
What games can this apply to?
>Bayonetta 2 was a flop
>#FE was a flop
>Xenoblade Chronicles X was a flop
Why do developers keep creating these fantastically amazing games when the Wii U audience only wants more Mario and Zelda?
It's such a waste...
because nintedo pays them to and they don't give a fuck. people will play these games 5 years from now, while any gaystation or eggsbox game has been forgotten since 2nd week after their release.
Bayonetta 2 is somewhat niche. Not that many know of it, especially out of the Wii U audience.
#FE is somehow what neither SMT nor FE fans wanted. But really, how do you get idols when you combine Judeo-Christian mythology and war strategy?
Xenoblade X is a sequel to a VERY niche game. Nobody fucking knew Shulk in Smash.
Do you ever feel that, despite enjoying a game, you just want to finish it and move onto something else?
The new JXD came out and it sounds good but I'm not finding any reviews or anything on it. The last model was the second best android console besides the shield.
Any help would be appreciated. I need a portable that can play Dreamcast effectively.
Oh on the subject, the GPD XD has been getting good reviews.
I haven't found anyone playing the game I want it for though. I need it to play Skies of Arcadia.
