Hey /v/ how about we start a trend on Twitter called #2015ingaming where we talk about our best 2015 gaming moments.
Give me something challenging /v/. I've got Euro Truck Sim 2 to get comfortable, but I want to start the new year with a list of games that make me feel accomplished when I beat them.
>hardmode: no "muh dark souls.
to be fair, any of the souls games will fill that lack of challenge for you, just ignore the cancerous fanbase.
Also bullet hells, any of them since there's one for every kind of challenge, going from fair but you will spend 20 hours to beat 6 levels to masochist.
I'm pretty bad at this game but it's still pretty rad.
Any tips /v/?
>Pick up the game because it's $4.99
>/v/ always talks about it
>Start the game off, everything feels pretty dated
>Kind of bored, begrudgingly keep going
>Get to the Ocean House
This game is pretty fucking great. How come there's never been a sequel or anything? Can anyone suggest more like it?
The studio that made it had to rush development and was disbanded the same month it was released. Since then the WoD licence was picked up by CCP who tried to make an MMO that never got finished.
>Can anyone suggest more like it?
Thats about it.
If a game's classes don't matter at all in the storyline, why have classes at all?
Why not just develop characters skyrim style?
When I have to stop to level up my character's stupid dopey abilities that will never be acknowledged by anyone else in the storyline, it takes me out of the experience.
>dat feel of a brand new V8
feels comfy and FUCKEN FAST
ETS2 general i guess
What am I getting myself into?
Post your game of the year.
Best game of the year, nothing can top this, it's a blast from beginning to end.
Alright /v/, so Santa was nice to me with a bonus this year so I thought I'd finally take the plunge and invest in a PC for the den.
I've had a PS4 down there forever and got bored of it.
After dicking around with building the thing all day today, I finally have it up and running.
Other than Kodi, what do I do with this thing now? I need some suggestions.
It's a modest console killer, GTX 750ti with intel G3258 that I'll overclock. Cost me all of $325 bucks after rebates and I already have 2 xbxox 360 remotes.
What do you...

What went wrong?
Why are western games so bland and uninspired, /v/?
Is there anything left to be done in 2d platformers? Has every possibility been exhausted?
most platformers these days are clones of Mario or Mega Man, there's plenty of untapped potential for platformer variation, like Sonic and other SEGA platformers
>there's plenty of untapped potential for platformer variation
in what way? level design, gameplay mechanics? I've been playing some recent platformers, and while there are some great games they seem to have lose all inventiveness
Can anyone recommend me some nice comfy, but still solid RPG games? Pixels, 3d, anything will do. I have a hunger for good RPG/JRPGs ever since Bravely Default and looking around I can't find shit. Help pls, bb. PC, 3DS, PS4, or even older consoles will do fine.
