So this guy just beat OoT on literally a blind run
http://www.theverge.com/2016/1/4/10707382/zelda-ocarina-of-time-beaten-blind-gamer
>Where most gamers can simply look at the screen to see where to go next, Garrett had to use the game's sounds to orient himself, keeping track of his character in an entirely 3D space. Using speakers situated on the left and right of his chair let him work out where audio was coming from.
>Particularly important in Garrett's playthrough was the use of the hookshot — a Zelda mainstay that fires a retractable chain — as a form of echolocation. When Garrett fired it against a wall, he'd hear a telltale clang; if he fired it into thin air, it would reach the end of its tether before returning to his hand, spooling backwards with a different noise.
Good for him?
That's crazy
It's been done before.
why is this such an impossible feat in vidya?
Cause Zelda always smashes the pots
How would they turn the glass into programming code? Moron.

The demo is shit.
The FPS and pawn chatter is like that in the actual game though.
They're masterworks all, ye can't go wrong.

>Another one falls for the shilling
I feel sorry for gamers who weren't born in the 90's..
The early 90's was the perfect time to be born for playing quality vidya.
I feel sorry for nostalgia fags who can't come to grips with the fact that there is plenty of good video games nowadays just like there was back then.

Rule number 95: Try harder when baiting
>BORN IN THE 90S
What the fuck? Is this a thread for underage faggots?
Kill yourself, you don't know vidya if you were born after the 80's, holy fucking shit
just die
I would like to start a thread for anything xenoblade related. Questions are welcomed

>allies fuck up binding every single time
Here's a question, why is the party members' AI utter garbage?
Tell me how to defeat Vita because I can't fucking do it and having to reset the game every time you die has to be the most horrible design flaw in a video game.
>>322704596
I agree there pretty useless but just take the chicks and put them in hot shit at least there good to look at
Marche did nothing wrong
Prove me wrongP.S. You can't
>>322193261
Can you tell me what makes this game good? I have a lot of SRPGs to play, should I bother with this one?
>>322193261
how on earth was marche's design even greenlit?
Is 2016 going to be the year of ****?
Mario and Sonic at the 2016 Olympic Games

The future is looking bright....

Every Team besides Aonuma's and Next Level Games are unaccounted for. they can't be just sitting on their asses for the past year/s.
what does everyone on /v/ think of crypt of the necrodancer
i've personally enjoyed it, because on top of being a rhythm game roguelike done well, it actually has a good soundtrack to boot
I like that you can import your own tracks, but it's kinda annoying once you get them in and the rhythm generator makes them feel wonky.
Otherwise solid, and the game's soundtrack is good as well.
>>322702727
pretty good.
I'm planning on getting a DANCE PAD and using it to get into shape.
it's fun but i will never understand why the art direction, except for the bosses, is literally just like any other dungeon game. why can't it relate to the fact that everything's a fucking disco?
My laptop is only capable of emulation SNES or GBA games so I need some comfy games I can play on the SNES or GBA. What do you have?
>>322193180
Zelda lttp or Chrono Trigger
Riviera the Promised Land.
Chrono Trigger
Even if you already played it just play it again cause it always feels good to play
Doesn't feel so bad after V
I feel so much more contrarian after /v/
I liked MGS4 after I initially played it.
It isn't amazing, it also isn't terrible.
MGSV actually made me feel bad after completing it.
Playing MGS4 I wished there was more game and less cutscene but that entire ending sequence was powerful shit. It felt like a natural conclusion to the franchise. I still would rather pretend it is the real conclusion. It's the last non-handheld Metal Gear Solid game that got proper funding and actually was completed the way Kojima envisioned. That honor can't be taken away from it since he can't...

Just finished 4 myself, I thought it was pretty fucking on point.
As someone who never played Half Life, should I buy Half Life 1 or just get Black Mesa? Also since I already own Half Life 2, could I just get the mod version of Black Mesa instead of buying the standalone?
>>322193071
Just get black mesa. The original game is not only outdated but the final part which isn't in black mesa is a complete boredom. So you're not missing much.
Do NOT buy Black Mesa
The developers are being lazy as fuck and STILL haven't released the final part of the remake yet. The AI is also inferior in every way.
Buy Half-Life 1.
Why is the writing so bad

Elaborate, you fiend.
