Best F2P games and why?
Warframe Pros:
>You're able to get everything without spending any actual money. (Except a few vanity items)
>Updated more than many other games.
>Pretty good cooperation
>Randomly generated levels
Warframe Cons:
>A few minor bugs
>Bullshit RNG
>Get's repetitive at higher levels
What's with the increased shilling of this game lately? You didn't even bother to change the text from the other threads.
Does it have to be an MMO? Elona+ is one of my favorite games and it's free so posting it anyway. It's a sandbox roguelike without permadeath.
Warframe is nothing but a skinnerbox for idiots.
I've put 150 hours into it, and then realized that the game was boring as fuck, and I was having absolutely 0 fun.
I also have an impressive tolerance for boring, monotonous games, so trust me when I say that warframe has almost no redeeming qualities.

Tell me one reasonably well known famous/successful person who plays a lot of video games (excluding pro-gamers).
Are video game just worthless time sinks that destroy your potential to succeed?

Are books, movies, and tv shows time sinks? Any from of media is a time sink unless it's educational.
Long story short, I decided to start working on a game of my own. There's been a lot of stuff to consider and I've looked into what kinds of design choices would suit the theme of the game.
One thing that I keep coming back to is items and populating the game with them. When I say items, it's shit like weapons, armour, special shit, etc..
What do you faggots think would be better:
>Items are randomly generated at the start of each game, stored in a big list and placed throughout the world, making everyone's experience...

Been telling myself that since I started, so I keep going with it.

Don't crowdsource your game design, it'll turn out shit.

Why do so many games have magical forests that send you back around in circles? Is this a common thing in Japanese folklore or something
>>322566774
>Is this a common thing in Japanese folklore or something
More common in Irish and English, but yes. Especially English. They had like half of their island cut off as "big spooky forest" until the French kicked their asses.

Name a single other one besides Super Mario RPG.I'm curious.
What should I expect.
A good time.

Is Super Mario Star Road any good?
>>322566192
It's just okay. If you really like SM64 it's good.
I gotta be honest, the first time I played it, on a proper emulator using a Gamecube controller, I was amazed. It felt like the Super Mario 64 2 Nintendo Power promised back in the day, and it was a lot of fun. I even invited my mom over to play it with me, like we used to when I was 4-5 on the original N64. We both loved it.
Give it a go.

Did you kiss your mom afterwards anon?
"Hey son, your mother told me to check up on you to make sure you weren't staying up so late."
"I'm fine with you playing your video games but please get some sleep, your mother and I worry."
"OK son, good night and see you in the morning."

I wish this game got more recognition,
it's free on their website and has a simple but interesting story.
Thoughts?
It's alright
Well I'm sure it was recognized as the pinnacle of indie games until this whole boom and subsequent "Undertales of the month"
>>322563739
You wish the most famous and renowned indie game of all time got MORE recognition? Implying it needs it?
>Implying there's anything wrong with properly applied filters
For fuck's sake just pick a CRT monitor up off the side of the road and hook your PC into that
Pac Man reminds me of sponge bob in that game.
