Why aren't there more underwater games? I'd buy a Wii U tomorrow if they made Endless Ocean 3.
Games don't even take advantage of the water they do have. GTA V has a sub and deep waters and has nothing. Fallout 4 populates its water with copy-pasted shipwrecks with nothing in them.
I just want a good game where I can explore the abyss.
Underwater has the flaw of boredom.
Things move slowly than air, it's mostly unoccupied space with nothing to do, the mechanical restrictions like oxygen forcibly make your stay even more obnoxious.
As for developers, asset generation is annoying for water. Getting the lighting and textures right, physics, and miles and miles of uninhabited sands and rock.
>make a huge empty area
>fill it with water
>put sea monster in it
>"10/10 spook of the year" from /v/
>make a huge empty area
>fill it with trees
>put Slenderman in it
>"0/10 walking simulator meme game" from /v/
Because "it's not retro REEEEEEEEEEEEE", I'll ask here.
Should I install the latest dev or stable build of pic related?
Dev build from buildbot.orphis.net/pcsx2/
Unless the emulator is as meticulously maintained as Dolphin, stable builds are just outdated and meaningless.
Where do I get started with PC RPGs? Never played any before.
Should I start with some of the older stuff, like Baldur's Gate? Or something newer, like Divinity: OS or Dragon Age: Origins?
What would be good for someone who isn't familiar with the genre?
if you give a shit at all about RPGs you'll play BG2. Everything will fall into place even if it's trial by fire.
I really want this game to do well in the competitive scene, but the required GamePad usage concerns me...
>On the WiiU
Gonna have to stop you right there, anon.
It'd be possible if Nintendo could manage to not fuck up their online matchmaking.
Is there any video game character that could defeat the Christian God?
Announcement soon lads, I can feel it.
So I just finished this game...
I really wanted to hate it because of the "Tumblr: The Literal Videogame" beginning, but fuck me - this game is phenomenal.
I'm mostly an RPG player and have never tried visual novels because the concept seemed boring and uninteractive but I am actually considering the game as one of the best I've ever played.
And that finale was pure fucking tears, christ
"Tumblr: Plottwists, sex dungeons, and tears" general
How does /v/ justify piracy?
