When was the last time these guys made a good game?
All the CYOA games are shallow as hell and are nowhere near as directed by player choices as they make out. Choices rarely matter and basically don't factor into the endings.
Never. Sam & Max had some nice humor, but was bogged down by how repetitive it was (talk to Bosco, talk to Sybil, collect three things. Repeat.), Monkey Island was a pile of congealed failure, and Back to the Future reused too many puzzles; they'd come up with one actually clever puzzle, then do the same exact same puzzle in the following two episodes.
The closest they got to a good game was probably Wallace & Gromit, or Puzzle Agent.
OH SHIT ITS THE MAIN ANTAGONIST
>find out that wasn't actually the final boss and you're not even 25% into the game
Is there ANY other game that does this?
God damn I love PS4.
I don't know, OP. I just have PS music stuck in my head and a drive to replay one now. Thanks.
When was the last time you had
funwith a game, /v/?
Just got a vita.
What are the must have games?
What's the best dkc game?
Just because it's a Nintendo game doesn't make it bad, faggot.
Just beat pic related for the first time.
How are the expansions? Are they even worth my time or should I skip them and jump into the sequel?
extraction point is fucking great. it goes more into horror territory than the main game and gets outright weird towards the end. definitive must play.
perseus mandate is more of a cheap addon with no real ideas of its own. it tries hard to be as cool and intense as FEAR but it really isn't. I still enjoyed it though.
Could Snake defeat these guys?
Do a lot of people still play online in Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate? I'm late to the party and I want to join in.
>A New Generation Begins was real.
I told you it was real, dumbasses! You were all wrong, just like the people who defend Hyrule Historia. Every single one of you on /v/ who said this was fake yesterday.
>very first teaser comes out
>everyone immediately recognizes that this is Link/Zelda daughter in a post-curse world
>Nintendo denies it like the petulant child they are
>still goes through with it
also the game is going to look like shit, everything shown so far is laughable bullshots.
Did anyone play this when it was on the Wii?
Is it any good?
i've never heard of it
ITT: Good games with dead playerbases.
The reason i didnt like the game is because within the first few minutes if one side has a slight advantage, the other team just all vote Forfeit match. Fucking boring
What went wrong?
>A Valkyria Chronicles type game on the 3DS
>Made by IS a developer that knows strategy games
>Weird story with over the top characters
>Movement was slow and waiting for the enemy's turn was annoying
This should have been one of the best game this year but somehow they fucked it up.
Sony Conference going on right now. I didn't see a thread so:
They'll be talking about PlayStation VR soon.
But if it was a Nintendo conference, shit would get sticky'd so fast.
Fuck this board sometimes.
Considering getting a flashcart for some of the shit I never got around to buying. What are some games I've probably missed out on?
Fucking all of them. Once you get a ds flashcart the games come to you. I've had one for three years and every month or so I'll find a game I never played or knew about and it's wonderful. Nanashi no geemu is the one I'm currently playing, and soma bringer. 10/10s
