POST WHAT YOU'RE CURRENTLY PLAYING
Dragon Quest IV. Its pretty nice so far, I'm liking the way the game is divided into chapters.
Also playing some Chivalry on the side, and looking for a third game to play to round things out.
Hardcore.
Did you cheat to beat this game the first time?
Why would you need to?
Press turn, buff/debuff, and you're good to fight up to the last optionnal boss quite easily.
Not really, it was a walk in the park for the most part.I had to lower the difficulty in SMT IV on some boss battles though, fuck that game.
Is using Daisoujou considered cheating?

>Dear players, we are announcing APPROXIMATE system requirements of Escape from Tarkov.
>During tests game will be optimized, so by the release system requirements may change, but not that much.
>If you have system which is lower than listed requirements, it doesn't mean that the game won't work.
>And again, this is just approximate system requirements.

Okay, cool.
Hope they bring out a demo or beta or some shit. Because system requirments never tell you if the game is shitty optimized.

>not unreal 4

Unity is a great engine, a lot of people use it because they're lazy as shit though.
>download dolphin and xenoblade
>start the game
>they start talking australian
this is going to be great
They're British.
Put dialogues in JP, much less obnoxious in combat
Game gets bogged down by the 60th hour. It suffers from a lot of huge games where the first bit is amazing but then by the end of it you just want to get it over with so you plow through the final areas. Still a really fun game.

TL;DR: Road to Beta, and Item Design with Thomas
Hello Exiles, Brian Fargo here.
Here we are in 2016, 17 years after the original Planescape Torment hit the scene and became a cult classic. This is finally the year for the spiritual successor to become a reality. Iām proud to tell you that Torment: Tides of Numenera Beta will be coming to all eligible backers during the week of January 17th and to Steam Early Access on the 26th of January. The team is incredibly passionate...

In a future update we'll talk more about the details of the beta release, but during the lead-up to the beta we will be providing you with new information on what it contains such as profiles of individual locations and discussion of characters and game mechanics. Keep an eye out in coming weeks for updates, starting with today's setting and design details.

This game looks like shit, and will be a massive disappointment to so many people.
>>322886191
As a quick refresher: items are split into ordinary items ā swords, armor, and things people can craft with a medieval level of technology; and Numenera ā remnants of the prior civilizations, technology so advanced as to seem like magic. These numenera are further split into Oddities, Artifacts, or Cyphers.
Oddities have no apparent practical use, but their uniqueness and rarity make them valuable. Examples: A goblet that appears empty even when it has a liquid in it; a synth flower that blooms only...

#FE fell off the Media Create top 20.
What's an mmo where I can play a class focused around the use of a melee spear or lance? It's always been my favourite weapon, I've been peeking at ff14 with dragoons but I'm wondering is there are alternatives.
If there are*

Define "shit"
Ain't Valve supposed to talk about the HTC Vive sometime today including their "BIG BREAKTHROUGH"?
When's that supposed to happen?
The big breakthrough was a camera on the front to let you see where you're going
Will it have social network integration?
It's a camera so you die on your furniture. Massive leap forward so worth 500<
If you use
>depth of field
>motion blur
>all but the MOST MINOR anti aliasing
just kill yourself
Make me faggot
>>322884054
why do you want your games to look blurry
>most minor AA
Why?
What is a ''casual'' /v/? And why are they seen as such a terrible thing
Someone that can't get into something, I guess. Or someone that has a shallow understanding of a medium they claim to like. I'm not sure how I'd describe it. I guess normal people? People that suck at games?
And they are seen as bad because they bring the standard of quality for video games down, usually affecting high difficulty games or good, less accessible games. Though as long as you stay away from AAA trash, you're fine, so I don't know why they're seen as a widespread problem of sorts.
casual = easy game I dislike
comfy = easy game I like.

>Why is nobody talking about this?
Because I stopped paying attention to rhythm gaming after 2013 but this thread has piqued my interest for anything else that might be out there that isn't all techno and/or weebshit that doesn't require $5000 in peripherals if anyone has any recommendations.
