Who should be in Poker Night 3?
guybrush, handsome jack, bender, arnold schwarzenegger
And the announcer from the stanley parable as the all knowing dealer. maybe someone else. got no better idea for the dealer right now.
Has anybody here played all the way through this? I'm about 10 hours in and I still can't decide if I like it or not. It's like part of me is enjoying it and can see the potential, and the other part is kind of like "meh." I'm enjoying the fact that the focus is on the writing and characters rather than flashy graphics, but I want to enjoy the actual process of playing the game too.
And I can't really get a handle on the combat system. It just seems like there's too much information coming in and everything is overly chaotic. I...

>I'm enjoying the fact that the focus is on the writing and characters
How interesting is it? Are the characters actually built and developed or are the bland cookie cutter "I'm a devout paladin" or "I'm a sly thief" sorts? Do they have goals? Quirks? Family? Do they ever have some character development?
I've just never heard a single thing about any of the characters from the game so I just assume they're unremarkable.
I just started too, what class are you playing? I find myself always being in scouting mode, put the game in fast mode and once i find a dude, try and set ,my party to pull them through a door way and "melee" lock them while the rest of my guys blast at range. I really only have the soldier and mage you meet in the first town, and made a rouge, with my main guy as a Monk.
Most of the enjoyment to me is looking as each encounter as a puzzle and figuring out how to kill them. Spells from the grimore and anything that is limited by rest i use only in a corner of...

The characters are deep. Only a little bit of the dialogue is voice acted, so they give you a lot of written interaction with the named companions. They also get a lot of backstory and they all have relatively extensive personal quests. And though they do have "classes," the characters are unique.
Can Uncharted 4 beat Uncharted 2?
Now that the snow has settled, what does /v/ think of Skyrim?
Great game, a milestone in role playing games and a hall mark in the series. The game did what so many has failed to do before and broke into mainstream pop culture, attracting quite a number of gamers who have either never played an RPG game or generally just didn't play much video games in general. With its streamlined gameplay and vast locales, as well as its dual ongoing storyline, it successfully brings true open world role play into the modern and console age.
I know you're playing pretend shill, but I do find it incredible that Bethesda managed to bring a once-niche genre screaming into the mainstream by just removing a few things. And yes, I'm talking about removing them from Oblivion - Oblivion from Morrowind was a huge downgrade compared to Skyrim to Oblivion.
>tfw you weren't into star wars growing up
>tfw you missed out on great games like SotE, KOTAR, Rouge Squadron, and the Battlefronts
Star Wars gaming thread? What games still hold up today? I played the shit out of Pod Racer on the 64 but that's about it.
Should I buy an X360 now, /v/?
I want to play Lost Odyssey (which I already played the first disc), Blue Dragon, Gears of War, Halo and Ace Combat 6
It's fairly cheap in my country right now, but I'm still on the fence
Would you guys recommend it? Also, any other hidden gems?
Yea, games are cheaper than they ever will be.
I can reccomend Tales of Vesperia, Nier, Binary Domain, Way Of The Samurai 3, Halo 3 ODST, Earth Defense Force 2025, Killer Is Dead, Gears of War series.
It's worth it if you haven't had a console in a while, you have 10 years of game releases that are now really cheap to go through.
Yes Man is the best character in New Vegas and more well-written than any character in Fallout 4.
The companions in FO4 were alright
>one of the toughest dungeons is in the first town
Is there a peripheral like this for the PC?
While mouse aiming is superior, analogue is objectively better than WASD
You can use the Wiimote + nunchuck on PC. I guess not all games allow you to use both a controller and m&k but plenty do.
And yes there are many shovelware accesories like that for PC. They're useless.
>While mouse aiming is superior, analogue is objectively better than WASD
Careful, don't get the mustards started.
They will insist to the bitter end that a device specifically designed for controlling movement in a video game is inferior to a keyboard, something that was designed for fucking typing and not video games at all long before video games existed.
Post bad character designs here.
looks like a high level world of warcraft character
Video games make people violent. Prove me wrong.
>Mother buys an 18+ rated Mature game for her kid
>THIS GAME IS TOO VIOLENT FOR KIDS
>Final Fantasy 14 voice actress found murdered
>London police today confirmed that voice actress Sian Blake, who played the character Yugiri in Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward, was found dead with her two children in their home this week.
He's a person of interest currently. He fled to Ghana and hasn't been seen since. Apparently, Sian's sister told the police that Sian was planning on leaving her bf due to him being abusive to her and her children.
I bought this game during the holiday sale and because I heard it was supposed to be really good. I like 3d platformers and stuff, but this one is just like, so much talking and story when i just want to jump on things and have fun.
Did I fall for a meme by buying this game? Does it get better the more you play it? Do the cutscenes eventually stop happening every two minutes?
>no good Hip-Hop inspired games
When are we getting a good rap game /v/?
