Feeling severely depressed and in need of some happy upbeat vidya to try and distract me from this waking nightmare.
Currently limited to Vita, 3DS and a toaster laptop.
Any recommendations, /v/? Something to really lift the spirits.
Do you agree, /v/?

How you like your Final Fantasy senpai?
>sleeps through incredibly important discussions
>still manages to be the most useful and level headed party member
>this is his response when chosen to be the new team leader
Why is Cid so fucking based?
I thought cid was the MAN when i was 12, im 29, married with kids, recently replayed this and i still relate to cid the most, clouds failure to soldier and barrets falling out with his best mate, red xiii disovery about seto still gets me,
Alright, you nibblets, it's time to have a good thread for once.
Post your most satisfying ending of any game.
My choice is Far Cry 2 or Devil May Cry 4, last one is super bittersweet, considering the fact that DmC came afterwards.
>Hey Dante! Will we meet again?
> . . .
Dude DMC's stories sucked (part from 3, liked that one's story) and Far Cry 2 was some out of the blue bullshit.
As for my choices:
>The Desolate Hope
Pretty natural culmination for the story, kinda touching, shame the human models look like lego people.
>Mark of the Ninja
Honestly Mark of the Ninja drops the ball on characterization and dialogue pretty hard apart from this, you're asked to sympathize with a silent character and I've no fucking idea why.
The ending was damn good, though. Nice song for it, too.
Talking about it would ruin it.
Same deal. Notable since like Mark of the Ninja, Dragon's Dogma drops the ball incredibly hard with its generic goddamn story, but the ending is fantastic.
Easily some of the best dialogue written in videogames. Fuck noir, noir never had the humour and eloquency Max Payne did.
Rate my potential build? Critisism and Compliments are appreciated,
Also, general build thread.
>inb4 intel fanboys
Eh, it's your choice to mix a mid-tier gaming CPU with a high-tier GPU.
I would in fact go Intel+AMD GPU. but otherwise it's an alright build.
I would recommend a WD blue drive and an SSD for the OS.
You don't really need an aftermarket cooler if you won't be OCing, but if you are, then that's a totally okay one.
You can also get by with a 600W PSU, but the 750W allows you to keep it for future builds as well, so if you ever plan to upgrade you'll only...

Better than Graces F shit combat, even has proper air combos
DEAL WITH IT
>~70% into the game's story
>you return to the starting area
>it is now filled with the strongest version of common enemies
>The final boss is an exact copy of your current stats and moves, so you have to exploit what your characters weaknesses are to beat him.
>the starting area is the most graphically beautiful and charming area in the game
>it gets nuked by a bunch of pissed off furries and you can never go there again
>Akiyama doesn't even have his own side story
Sure the game has 5 cities, but other than that, it's pretty bad.
alright fags help me out with some tips this game
i'm getting my ass beat
>you were born just in time for video games
>you were born too late to be a soldier in Imperial Rome under Gaius Julius Caesar's command, unified with your brethren, driven solely by the will of your leader for the sake of your nation
>you were born to late to be given a monolithic purpose, and instead remain subject to the acausal whim of modern society and its fractured personalities
I hate everything.
Any HD Rosalina legs yet?
That's no confirmation you fucking retard.
He literally says "look into the possiblity of continuing the series." in other words; they aren't doing one right now.
What he he's basically saying is that its on the table if DD:DA on PC sells well enough, and even then that's no guarentee.
>have to move out and work far from my home
>can't bring my PC with me
>no more vidya
fucking hell /v/, how do any of you with job find time to play vidya?
Why exactly can't you take your PC with you, especially if you work from home?
I moved 300km after highschool; fucking emptied my entire room and took my stuff with me.
If you do have some faggy excuse, then just buy a
>Started Ori earlier today
>About 4 hours in and my death count is already at 130
This game is a lot trickery than I thought it would be. Don't get me wrong I didn't expect a cake walk, but I didn't expect quite this much of a challenge.
>Die to some stupid trial and error bullshit
>Last save was 20 minutes ago
I've learnt to save pretty often now.
