The Vive is going to anally annihilate the rift, right?
Just got an N3DS, is this worth buying?
Should I play the original version on the Wii or remaster on PC?
original's 480i and looks passable at best on modern HD TVs.
If you only got an HDTV / monitor, play the HD Remaster. Just notice that it added a new "Very Easy" difficulty, and the game-breaking 2D control scheme. Don't use either one of those.
is this worth getting if i haven't played a game in the series since red and blue?
As a longtime fan I think it's one of the worst games in the series.
If you haven't played a game since Genwun, here are my recommendations:
Gold/Silver/Crystal are a direct sequel to RBY and even
let you go back to Kanto, really similar to the originals but improved.
FireRed andLeafGreen are remakes of RBY, really faithful but done in Gen 3's engine, which changes a lot of stuff. If you want to play a "newer" game without too much unfamiliarity play that.

Do you think that the current /v/, /vg/ and /vp/ arrangement is fine, or would we need more subs? Would there be a place for something like vidya culture, so that all eceleb and twitter stuff could go there?
/vp/ is okay since it's a mass-media franchise (cards, anime, spinoffs, etc.) and has the traffic for it
Personally think /vg/ was a huge mistake
Shoulda been "video game lobbies" and for online multiplayer games only
All the rest are just mostly off-topic chatrooms
I know alot of anons disagree with me. fite me.
>there are people who paid 60 dollars for this
Bloodborne's max FPS
age of mythology expansion 21 january
any decent players here? anyone else going to dwarf rush all the noobs that pop in for release?
Yea that's what I meant, I didn't know aom was getting an expansion until I read this. I was surprised when I heard that aoe ii was getting one, I didn't think people still played it and aom
How has this game not gotten a sequel or remaster? I mean come on if you don't like this game you are a chump and a nerd.
Here's my attempt at an unboxing thread /v/
I've skipped all the unnecessary shit. This is what I bought.
Post your vidia related tat also.
If this is a buyfag thread I have this coming in the mail.
Are any of you fuckers particularly good at a "competitive" game?
Which game is it? What makes you so good? Have you won any accolades? How long do you practice?
I have Fallout 3, but didn't get far into it because I was finishing college and working full time when I got it. Should I go back and restart it, or get Fallout 4?
I know they're standalone, I'm just wondering if 4 is vastly better than 3 and I shouldn't bother.
You have 10 seconds to name a videogame character more annoying than Ulysses.
BULL BEAR BULL BEAR
to be honest my family man, I thought cass was more annoying...
> muh daddy
> muh caravan
> muh whiskey
I want to get Xenoblade Chronicles.
Should I get the WiiU Virtual Console version or the 3DS port?
I doubt my PC could emulate Wii games.
I am a eurofag, yes.
How many eurobucks is the VC version? If I got the 3DS version I'd probably get the amiibo with it, so it'd be the more expensive choice I assume.
New Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak trailer, for the five other anons who are also interested in this game.
why they call it homeworld its not even in space w/ 3d movement
this is just a gearbox cash grab fuck you randy (sales)pitchford
Gearbox had a deal to led the IP to Blackbird and they made their Ground Control inspired game a Homeworld prequel.
What is the problem? The original manual had so much backstory in it that it was a shame the we could never see many of the factions and events mentioned there.
