Are you VR ready /v/?
I want a combo of the Vive/OR though. Want the FOV and camera from the Vive with the controllers of the OR.
Guess I'll end up buying neither as much as I want them.
What ever has the better software support will get the beans from me. I had a triple Nvidia 3D Vision gaming set up a few years back, but the lack of native support was a fucking nightmare. Had to force the resolution with shitty FoV, etc.
Seems like the Vive with the whole being the official Steam hardware might be the go for me.
>What ever has the better software support will get the beans from me
I was thinking the same thing but all games should eventually be able to support both so it wont really matter.
Vive has a worse screendoor effect do to higher FOV but it has the nice camera on the front I really REALLY wanted with a VR headset. I want to be an early adopted. I'm an enthusiast. I just can't decide which shit smells the least.
What are some of your favorite RPGs, /v/?
Let's include shit like Roguelikes and Dungeon Crawlers too.
First avgn I ever saw was from my normalfag friend who showed me a bunch of videos during a party. Years later I watched almost everything James ever made.
I love this guy's voice, the research that goes into his content and how he'd educate you about the life and times that game was made in.
He went to school to make movies, and worked hard at it, and all he has to show for it now is a movie that tanked and suffered lots of problems. I wish good things would happen to him.

Mario needs a new power-up!
What new suit are you going to give him, and what ability does it have?
Whereas the Cat Suit allowed one to climb up walls, dive pounce, and swat, the Dog Suit allows one to dig into the ground to both hide underground and be invulnerable momentarily and retrieve any buried items, receive a great jump boost at max running speed, and catch harmful projectiles.
Will it ever come to PC?
NOW PS4'S NOT MY CONSOLE
IT'S JUST A TAD BIT BETTER THAN XBOX ONE
BUT THE WII U'S FOR MY SON

Automatic lose, what the fuck
have your team hold position and stand closer, that way your team stays together while the rest of the teams are zerging into eachother and thinning their numbers while your team stays nice and healthy and in formation. Won't matter what weapon the RNG gives you, you'll always win that way.
Theres also tons of mods that let you pick what weapons you use in tourneys
also if you don't know how to command your units, mess around with the F1-F10 and 1-10 keys.
Game changes a lot when you upgrade from charging zergs to pulling off hammer and anvil tactics. While you're at it might wanna look up mods that make enemies fight in ranks/formations too. Entirely changes the game.
Just finished Spec Ops The Line. Let's talk about it
Post videos you've made
Why was the American snes so butt fucking ugly?
This movie was surprisingly pretty good.
Into the trash tier:
>Higher than Chris
Chris didn't do a whole lot, granted, but at least he wasn't a crazy mother fucker who spent the last year of his life setting up a Saw scenario for some fucked up revenge plan.
Also, where does the Stranger fit into here?
Josh was a funny and interesting character. Chris was just there, not very offensive or interesting in any way.
And the Stranger
had some promise but was killed off right away when it was his time to shine, so into Low tier he goes.
Alright /v/, I'm going to take the plunge and play Half Life 2.
The vanilla game looks like shit though, are there any mods to make it look modern?
Has /v/ looped around to liking Skyward Sword again?
The Zelda cycle is real, folks.
Nope, still hate it. Every time I remember that the puzzle and world design wasn't THAT bad, I remember that the shitty controls and combat system ruined everything.
Also the puzzles and world design were pretty bad.
>The Zelda cycle is real, folks.
The Zelda cycle applies to every fucking game on this board. I am seriously fucking amused watching the positivity surrounding RE5 these days after experiencing how that game was regarded here back when it was new.
Do you think female trainers ever used machoke for... you know...
