When will they go back to fantasy FF like FFIV/FFV/FFVI/FFIX/FFXII?
Wasn't XIV fantasy as hell
or does that not count
WoFF looks like it might be that as well
As for mainline FF, who knows they change all the time, XV only stuck with a tech world because it was once a part of XIII
Now that I think of it though, don't all have some layer of machina/mechs, when does the line draw on not fantasy enough
18th century Britain and its colonies plus some Roman Empire
If by fantasy you mean "generic European middle ages", then FF doesn't do it much. That setting is also pure shit.
/v/ was fucking wrong again
/v/ is not one person
/v/ also has a large contingent of entrenched dota / lol players who refuse to believe their games might be stagnant shitholes with awful design that lock you into a room with awful people for 60+ minutes.
'All dlc should be free' they said, 'We want to make a statement' they said.
They said all small DLC, and they did add a bunch of free small DLC, and that anything substantial would be paid.
There is a huge difference between charging 5 dollars for a cosmetic armor set and charging 10 for a 10-15 expansion and later 20 for a 20+ hour expansion in an entire new region.
>there will never be a complete edition/remaster of this work of art
Why do you pretend that this game doesn't exist, Capcom?
I don't game much, but I try to never skip a Zelda. Now I hear that Twilight Princess HD is going to have content locked behind a scannable plastic toy, what the hell? How is this guy still in charge?
Friendly reminder that this games is going to be great in the long term.
Also fun Fact: Retro Studios designed the federation marines
Also this game is apparently taking place between Metroid 1 and Return of Samus
NLG have a pretty good reputation for fun multiplayer games, although what we saw at E3 just looked bland and boring. I'm fine with a spin-off (and I don't think Samus should be shoe-horned into it like some people are suggested), I just wished that they had stuck with the old Prime artstyle.
>Also this game is apparently taking place between Metroid 1 and Return of Samus
You say that like it's going to have an actual plot.
Is there a more overpowered starting weapon in the history of videogames?
Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak
Who /hype/ here?
Expectations? Wishes? Disgust? Disappointment?
obsidian has said on several occasions that they want to do another fallout game
how would it go ?
would they use fallout 4's engine or just make their own thing ?
what would you want to see ?
Chicago, baja, arizona
Legion heavy game would be interesting but not necessary
Start off as some tribal
Preferably some backwater fuck no story
Bring back revolvers and unique weapons
See some change in the wasteland west coast from the second dam battle
Something ive been interested in is the multiple play option. Real dumb but makes 4 endings from new vegas viable. Start off by choosing who won the second dam battle changing the game very slightly
Idk just want to make...

>New mainstream Metroid comes out
>You can choose between:
>3D FPS with good gameplay but god-tier story
>2D traditional with god-tier gameplay but a subpar story that gets heavy-handed towards the end
I own it and its shit, I wish I hadn't wasted the money. The tracklist for the career mode is fucking awful, not sure if you looked it up yet. The premium list is better but you don't get to play infinitely, its a really shitty set up. Also disliking Rock band 4. Shitty set list too, bunch of crappy DLC and its missing all the classics. I think Amplitude is more fun but it's all original tracks this time around, which may be a plus depending on who you ask.
I'd recommend it if you're into that sort of thing.
If you're a hardcore rhythm game guy it might not be your sort of thing though, there's all sorts of weird shit, but it's still pretty fun.
I'm the second guy and yeah first guy was right about the track list. You might want to look it up because it is pretty fucking bad. But hey maybe you like trash, definitely check that out first if you're interested.
And Amplitude is pretty rad.
Why is having cute girls considered a negative for many gamers both professional and casual alike?
>Hitman now fully episodic, launches with prologue and one location
There's been a noticeable effort lately from Capcom to appeal to core players and make games more like classic Capcom.
>MonHun bigger than ever
>Megaman franchise testing the waters again
>DMC 5 hinted at
>Dragon's Dogma on PC with a sequel being considered
>SFV looks THICK
>Remasters of classic RE games, before 4 ruined the franchise
Is Capcom back? Could it be true?
>Is Capcom back? Could it be true?
Yes, because they don't have a choice.
About a decade ago Capcom got greedy, and western markets were growing bigger and bigger. So Inafune along with other Capcom staff was convinced "westernization" (aka casual, outsourced DLC ridden shit) was the future.
This backfired hard for them, and now they have to come crawling back to their old fans. Because they were like an inch away from getting bought or bankruptsy.
I'm glad Capcom seems to be coming back, but one has...

I assume it's because the vidya industry isn't growing as fast as it used to 5 yeas ago. Even companies that have been memed to go full mobile, like Sega, are doing it, so it would make sense for Capcom to also focus on the audiences they know instead of endlessly testing waters and trying to break into the AAA market.
What are some games that feature heavy Egyptian themes or landscapes? Games that I can play as ancient Egyptian gods? The only games that come to mind are MOBA's, but that doesn't quite tickle my fancy.
