Dragon's Dogma is available to pre-load on Steam now - it worth getting? Not heard of it but the trailers look pretty cool
Witty joke containing the word "aught" goes here
Update is out.
Updating hacked 3DS probably isn't the best idea atm.
Help others thread I guess.

Did you pre-order yet /v/?
Is there a simple guide to hacking the New3DS yet?
A lot of the guides involve referencing other guides that can get complicated. At this point I'll just wait for an easy video tutorial.

1)Compare price of a new console to computer built out of used parts (as opposed to used console)
2)Disregard fact consoles are pre-bundled with OS and controller
3)Claim steam sales , but disregard psn sales , free games on psn and used game market and reselling games on consoles to save cash.
Nothing against you if you like pc exclusives like DOTA or Starcraft , but console gaming is cheaper ,
>1)Compare price of a new console to computer built out of used parts (as opposed to used console)
why's this retarded exactly? Consolecux seldom even want to think of building their own system, and you can create a total PS4-killer for less than 400 bucks nowadays, from brand new parts. Been possible for two years now.
>2)Disregard fact consoles are pre-bundled with OS and controller
As are most PCs, and a basic KB+M set costs you anything from NOTHING to 15 bucks tops. OS you can get absolutely free, both legally and with questionable means.

The difference with PSN sales is the fact that they seldom offer notable reductions in prices for the latest games, and just about never as huge price drops as Steam. Also there ARE still physical copies for PC games, and you can even trade or sell digital games of yours on PC.
Finally, the PC has the benefit of having superior multiplats, ways of customizing and modding your games, free online gaming, better multitasking capabilities, and near unlimited backwards compatibility with the 10k+ games available for it.
Hey /v/, are you pro- or anti-GamerGate?
Anyone else here play the Wakfu game?
I feel like I never see threads on /v/ about it so I'm wondering if it's too niche.
For those that play, what classes are your favorite? How long have you been playing?
/v/ talked a lot about the game and the show during all relevant updates (very early beta, cartoon, season 2, movies, F2P update).
The thing is, while the game have an amazing art direction and a pretty much every typical post from "dream MMO" threads as the as the development direction (open world free pvp with harvest moon-like farming with niggers stealing your crops, plus community-driven everything, from money crafting to government), the game is not popular enough, for good reasons (no marketing...

Dragon's dogma hype thread
yeah pretty much
why are you guys so hyped?
The game is boring. Its just like an offline MMO. Its based in exploration, the map is big yeah, but its empty, simple and boring, and the enemies spawn in the same spot? cmon
Not worth it without a sale.
THEY GOT RID OF THE PISS FILTER
HOT-SWAPPABLE WEAPON MODS
Officially the last time I give into console port hype.
Early-Ass /v/eekend Tourney because why not.
>Inb4 heated argument about not having smash ball on.
Personally I like the Smash Ball, but I understand why people don't like it and I'd rather not have someone make a separate tourney because of it being on.
Yeah, I should have put smash in the OP post to make it easier to search.
