If Valve took a page from GOG's book about Galaxy and incorporated it into Steam, would the PC gaming distribution industry be a better place?
Took what? what is galaxy

This is the main reason why I haven't picked it up since I platniumed the game. I know my base will be massacred. All my diamonds...
>Same as OP
>Haven't played in months
>Get added by two different people
>Say I Have a "hacker FOB"
>COmments on my profile about being a famous "Cheater"
u wot how can my NPCs soldiers cheat
Will Twilight Princess ever be able to escape from Wind Waker's massive shadow? How did giving the fans what they were begging for go so wrong?
When will all of them be able to escape from Ocarina of Time's shadow?
>>329936347
I wasn't begging for a mediocre port with slightly upressed textures. It was always the disgusting polycount that made the game look like shit. And that's ignoring the actual gameplay problems like the disgustingly low difficulty even by comparison to Wind Waker.
>>329936347
because fans NEVER know what's best for a game or series. That's the reason they're the fans and not the creators. They're fans for a reason. Because the creators knew what they were doing and created something without the fans that was good enough to gain the fans in the first place
What's your excuse for not having played the greatest indie game of 2016?
It's $9 on Steam right now
3hours 30minutes to beat, after the weapon upgrade the final boss was pretty much the easiest boss in the game, after the hunter duo. Charming game otherwise.
The first three were super mediocre is why.
only having 6.49 in my steam wallet
ITT: we talk about how Dark Souls is actually the best game that was ever created.
I'll start.
>perfect leveling system
>no class restrictions at any point
>beautiful world
>original and challenging bosses (at least for the first few play throughs)
>seamless replay value
>incredible immersion in the story as long as you understand it. Also stupidly in depth.
>over...

I'm not really into Dark Souls but god damn I love the architecture and map design of that game.
>>329935370
>perfect leveling system
Not when resistance exists
>No class restrictions at any point
As in, you can clear the game with anything?
Sure.
>beautiful world
Not after AL
>original and challenging bosses for the first playtroughs
Sure, still too easily cheesable though.
>seamless replay value
Not really if you consider your previous point,...

There is only one loading screen regarding travel in the game, from sens fortress to Anor Londo. Best world.
Hey /v just beat planescape torment and wanted to get others opinions on what The Nameless Ones original crime was.
Its mentioned that whatever his crimes were are beyond comprehension and effect the planes, and at the end he goes to fight in the blood war.
The only crime possible of being unspeakably terrible is actually starting the blood war, and a seemingly appropriate punishment is fighting there for eternity.
thoughts?
also discussion of all things PST and why not bring in other CRPG's too
It doesn't matter what his crime was
As it doesn't matter what his name was
What matters is that belief can change anything, if you believe strongly enough
The end.
>inb4 shitty nongame get out pcucks
Nobody knows what his crime is, except for the fact that it's killing the planes. I've seen the suggestion that it was the Blood War before, (or rather, that the Blood War was one of it's many consequences), but I seriously doubt it, seeing as the Blood War is fucking old, to the point that it could even precede mortals. It's also fueled by the inherently conflictory nature of Lawful- and Chaotic Evil, Baatezu and Tanari'ri. Admittedly, every war has its spark, so it's theoretically possible that TNO was involved.
>>329934251
I thought he just lived so long and did so much bad shit that he racked up a huge list of sins, enough to be damned on the spot when he got his mortality back.
Well, /v/?

Uncharted?
What is halo?
Did they make FE4R?
>Have 45 minutes free
>Figure I'll play Just Cause 3 on my xbox one while I wait
>3gb update required
>Game won't play without update
Why the fuck is this allowed? Modern gaming is cancer
>>329933637
What happens if you pull the ethernet cord?
>>329933637
All games released are in beta. No game releases without needing an update immediately. Then again a few weekss later to finish bug fixing. Then again due to player complaints. Then again to nerf something just because. And they only stop when they are almost done with the next rehash.

I dunno, a lot of Japanese games still come complete
Enjoy half your game on Tuesday, and paying for another game that aint out for a while at same time
>>329932178
I'm getting real sick of season pass shit! Is this going to be on every game ever made from now on?
>>329932248
As long as it sells.
>>329932248
Yes it's how they make profit after recouping development and advertisement costs from the initial game purchase.
Who is the best Xenogears and why is it Bart (aside from being fucking broken)?
Everyone's pretty sucky.
I like Citan and Bart so far.
Don't hate the others but I don't really care about them either.
>>329931657
>I like Citan
This is a mistake you need to correct post-haste.
>>329931514
Bart is lame in combat but a bro
Billy is good
Citan is a God
Fei is good
Emeralda is a God
Elly is good until emeralda
Maria sucks outside of a gear but her gear is fantastic
So which is the better game at this point? I know Diablo had a very rocky start and some people are still salty over that, but has it redeemed itself?
Does PoE even stand a chance when comparing them?
>>329930274
POE is more Diablo than Diablo 3 is Diablo.
>>329930350
How so?
>>329930274
poe is kinda boring desu
How to save the MMO genre:
>put more focus on leveling content than end game, it will attract a wider audience
>make leveling actually take a long time, but not from grind, from having lots of content and features
>make features of the game like crafting actually be worthwhile while leveling
>release new leveling content plus dungeons in DLC that you pay real money for
Basically, make them more like RPGs again and less like WoW
>>329929672
How to actually save the MMORPG genre without going to the magic lands of infinite money and time-stasis-powered development time:
>first step: remove the first "M"
>second step: there is no second step
Simple and effective.

I bought this shitty fuckin game after the direct when it went on sale because Generations looks cool as fuck. This game has awful lock on, shitty graphics, my dual swords are slow as fuck, I can't even see how much damage i'm actually doing to monsters. How the fuck can anyone play this shit? I'm carrying around eggs like a fucking retard and something bumping into me just before camp makes me drop the fucking egg!
FAVORITE MONSTER
FAVORITE WEAPON
FAVORITE ARMOR
MH THREAD GO
so, is the chargeblade just a shitter weapon or can I use it online without fear of being mistaken for some french retard? I've played with it for a while and it just seems like the type of weapon that trips everything around it, but it's so much fun
>>329928697Monster Hunter thread?
Favourite monster, weapon, area, game?
Remember when EA said Dead Space wasn't axed? Where's Dead Space 4?
>>329927879
>wanting another DS after the abomination that was 3
Hardline's moderate flop was probably one of the last nails in Visceral's coffin. Their Star Wars game will determine if they live or die.
3 was bad but I want them to have one last chance at Dead Space.
>>329928412
>tfw enjoyed DS3 thoroughly
I never really got the criticism for it. Human enemies fit the story very well with Unitologists wanting you dead, and without universal ammo the weapon customization would have been a pain in the ass hoping you get ammo for your favorite gun
Yay or nay?
>being John Romero's bitch
Yay on everything but Daikatana.
It isn't fun in a "so bad it's good" sort of way, it's just tedious.
