>/v/ says a game is shit
>It's actually good
What's her name?
fuck off
>>330223695
fuck off
>70% of bosses are damage sponge Flamethrower guy
what the hell?
So enemies are still just bulletsponges?
Good thing I didn't pre-order then.
>>330223390
>>330224454
>what is MMO
>>330224801
it's not really a MMO
Beat me yet?
Several times, game is super easy once you age a few years.
>>330223562
First time it was ludicrously difficult though.
The game isn't hard, but it's full of obscure mechanics and there is zero hand-holding. And that's why I love it.
Yes i did
but did you beat world 2?
That game is way more hard and bullshit
>hear by everyone how Okami is so much better than Twilight Princess
>play Okami
>drop it due to boredom
>play TP
>love it
What's wrong with me, /v/?
Nothing, but since you posted here, the answer is shit taste.
Nothing, you just enjoy different things.
I played Okami for like 40 hours before I forgot the game I think and I hadn't even hit the half point at that moment.
>>330222824
Not that shocking, Okami is still really good but it's oddly filler heavy and plot focused for a Clover game.
Help me /v/
Pick me one:
Bravely Default OR Far Cry: Tribal OR The Division.
Bravely Default is the only decent game on that list.
>>330222704
shit
buy it when it's 90% off
buy it when it's 90% off
>buying Tribal or The Division
Why the fuck would you do that?
>30 fps with drops
Literally unplayable garbarge
the fuck kind of psp is that
>PSP is less powerful than a N64
SONYYYYY
>>330221923
Looks like the last model.
The one with the cheap ass plastic.
Why is Tekken the best fighting game in the universe
3D fighters are awful.
>>330221712
Blahblu a shit
>>330221712
Are 3D fighters those you can sidestep in?
hey /v/ is this series worth it
there are a lot of games in the series and they look breddy good !
>>330221102
6-8 are the mandatory main games.
Earlier ones if you can stomach the graphics/ui/controls.
9 is bad. Really bad. It's so hilariously bad it's good. Play at your own risk.
Haven't played 10 myself, and don't really have any desire to.
>>330221693
wont i be missing any story or every game has individual story?
>>330221693
10 is pretty good even if it's set in the alternate universe.
>>330221908
No you won't really miss anything, VIII was my first game and I had no issues with it they're mostly self-contained.
How do you feel about digital only games?
Wasn't it a thing you need to have English VO in order to get your game rated for retail in US? Maybe I'm thinking about something else.
>>330220893
> if you don't believe in your product enough to physically release it in the west, it must not be very good
That statement is horseshit and you know it.
>>330221107
>Wasn't it a thing you need to have English VO in order to get your game rated for retail in US?
No. Deception IV has Japanese VA.
And that is hilarious, Zelda has mumblish voices and it gets rated for retail
Splatoon's art looks way too good for a first party Nintendo game, it just has this incredible pop that doesn't feel focus grouped to death like other games.
>>330220886
With the exception of Splatoon and maybe two or three other games, in terms of software, Nintendo stopped being innovating decades ago. They stopped trying new things when they found a couple successful franchises and they stuck with that. Sure, it works for them, it makes their brand easily recognizable and familiar but it looks like the clock has run out and those franchises have been beat to death. I feel they haven't created anything that is a BIG new IP in so long they just don't know how to do it...

>>330221056
Except they both try new things and new things with their established IPS all the damn time.
>>330221157
Ever wonder why none of the new things work?
>a lot of the attempts are just them throwing shit at the wall and seeing what sticks.
What do you call games that are overall a little shoddy but they're recommended anyways because they're ambitious or unique or otherwise engaging and interesting? Maybe the equivalent of a good B-movie, lacking in polish and noticeably flawed but full of character and soul that doesn't necessarily make you overlook the bad parts but accept both the good and bad as all part of the experience. Maybe it has clunky controls coupled with platforming segments (pic related) or drastically changes the gameplay for a good chunk of the game for no reason (Harvester). Games...

Cult hit usually implies something like that.
>>330220783
There we go, thanks.
What's your favorite cult hit, /v/?
>>330220707
>Maybe it has clunky controls coupled with platforming segments (pic related)
Literally can't miss if you aim the jump with your mouse and press the jump button, and it's a tight TPS otherwise.
It was a fucking Ass Creed game. Why was it good?
>>330220175
It took most of the tenents of Ass Creed games and replaced them with something different, auto parkour was fun for a couple games but it became stale and is on life support now. Running around lush jungles in a setting that is less common than the norm, as well as naval combat wasfun
the parts that were actually asscreed weren't.
it was a pirate game with asscreed on the side.
>>330220175
Shanties
Interesting characters
But mostly shanties
Nobody ever mentions this game a lot
>>330220138
cuz it was shit
Actually we've had a ton of threads about it over the years. General consensus is
-The gameplay was better than Bioshock especially in the areas of hacking and plasmids
-Not being able to revisit previous areas was annoying
-Little Sister harvesting escorts got a bit annoying
-The drill is an incredibly satisfying weapon
-Eleanor is a great daughter
-Sofia was a terribly irritating antagonist
-The story, graphics and atmosphere were worse than the first game
-The multiplayer was excellent
-Minerva's Den was a terrific DLC
>>330220569
You're welcome I guess XD
What makes this game a sequel? All the trailers show the exact same dungeons and environments from the first game. I know there are a couple of new jobs, a new big bad and two new party members but I just don't see why I should fork over $60 for what looks to be the exact same shit I've already played.
>>330220032
>why I should fork over $60
You shouldn't.
>$60
This is a 3ds game, am i missing something?
>>330220032
>I just don't see why I should fork over $60
Then don't faggot, what's the big deal?
IS PC gaming even worth it in 2016? Almost every new game is shit, what's the point of building a $900 computer when the best games PC has to offer came out close to a decade ago or more?
Ummm. Ever heard about Undertale or Stardew Valley? Consolecucks will never get to enjoy these games.
Bannerlord coming this year anon
>>330219892
i've almost completely moved away from pc gaming at this point
it hurts pretty bad, been doing it for 15 years but after the last 18 months i've just reached a point where i need some time away from that shit
