Just bought The Witness, Firewatch, and Life is Strange.
How'd I do /v/?
So we can all agree that Double Dash was the best, right?
ITT: games where killing is satisfying
How do I get back into Splatoon? Do splatfests still exist?
Play with friends, that's the only way I can see myself going back to it. I only have one other person that I could play the game with but neither of us are gung ho about starting it up.
I think this weekend's splatfest was pokemon red and pokemon blue, I don't know if it was only japan but yes they still exist.
Either play only on Splatfests or get a team of friends to play with.
Turf War is officially full of Japanese people now and you don't stand any chance going into ranked alone.
I managed to get a shot of the final roster! This is what it looks like.
What's /v/'s opinion on Far Cry 2? Underrated or shit? I've been playing it non stop for a few weeks and can't seem to put it down. I skipped it when it came out initially.
I can see that, in terms of mission structure. There isn't much variety. I think it's the writing and the visuals keeping me going though. Plus it's fun to set fire to the jungle and pretend you're in Vietnam.
Whole new low.
How are my fellow burgerclaps enjoying the demo?
I just got the Hawkeye asterisk and I'm having fun. It's convincing me to get the game despite the fact the US version is going to be gutted. Running Nikolai has Red Mage/Astroligan, Yew as a Wizard/Performer, Janne Valkyrie/Hawkeye and Magnolia as Swordmaster/Freelancer.
Getting nervous. Will my pc play DS3 reasonably well?
My specs would probably help
i5 3570k, Cooler Master Hyper 212EVO Heatsink (with Artic Silver thermal paste), ASUS Sabretooth Z77 Motherboard, 16GB G-Skill DDR3 RAM, Gigabyte GTX 660ti GPU, Corsair AX750 PSU, 128GB Samsung SSD, 1TB WD Caviar Black HDD
Is this the best mechanism to reload a weapon?
It's out, and it's pretty good
in my opinion
This game really isn't as good as you teens think it is. Yeah it's definitely better than Fallout 3, and is generally good, but the RPG mechanics like skills and SPECIAL are really not that significant, most of the map is unfinished, the game runs and looks like ass...it has a lot of flaws. At best, a 7.5/10.
>inb4 Obsidrones say "B-BUT IF THEY HAD MORE TIME"
Obsidian never delivers, no matter how much time they have. And it doesn't excuse the lack of content in the game compared to other, better RPGs.
1995-2004 is the best era in gaming, no discussion.
Everything after that just caters to the masses, overhyped, doesn't need to be a quality product just to sell, is mostly fucked up because great PC legacies (mainly GTA and Elder Scrolls) have been dumbed down for consoles, graphics are valued more than content, etc.
Pic related. An fucking MASTERPIECE. Sadly, we won't see anything like it again in the current state of the gaming world.
I'm fond of that era too OP but to say everything before or after is shit is a very very narrow-minded opinion.
This was definitely the peak for RTS gamers, I'm still playing through Blitzkrieg II and I bought it a decade ago
>thanks for saving the world
>now please fuck off while the rest of us enjoy the carnival
>searching for navi
man that is some shit writing.
What is your opinion on Dark Souls 2?
I got 200
Then my family share friend got SotFS and I tried to play that.
Didn't even make it past heide's, everything was just more difficult for the sake of being more difficult.
>hurr here's an enemy only someone who played DSII original wouldn't expect
