Find a flaw.
Just me who will buy this on console because it is 30 fps and not 60?
I know 60 is technically "better", but I can't play Souls for shit at 60.
I'm good at the games in 30, at dodging shit and not gettinb hit so I thought I'd buy DS1 and 2 on PC and I suck at it. My timing is off, I can't predict when the enemy will actually swing their attack as well and such.
It just frustrates me and I find myself going back to the console versions.
I think this is one series that's made, at least for me, for 30 FPS.
Should I play the 360 or PS3 version of Catherine?
No difference. Same resolution and framerate, 720p and 90% sure it's 60FPS.
Well I guess the game boxarts are different, they went with platform exclusive front covers.
should I play through the first 2 to understand what's going on in 3?
Anyone else notice how good some games are but they have a really low player base?
For exmaple, Secret ponchos is a amazing fucking game. The style, the gameplay, the music. All fucking GREAT.. However, its player base is really tiny and it takes forever to find a match.
Same with unreal tournament(the new one). Great game but hardly anyone plays it even though its free and shaping up nicely. Why is that?
What is it about good games that makes people not want to play?!
It has to do with a lot of things.
The one thing it has nothing to do with is how "good" a game is. If you could ask a more specific question, maybe I can answer it for you.

I don't understand. I guess what I am trying to figure out is why some games like secret ponchos and the new unreal tournament and a arena shooter called "Reflex" have such low player base but games like warframe(grind fest) and other such games have such huge lively populations?
would you say the Redux versions are objectively better than the originals /v/?
or did they fuck up some where?
They are objectively worse in most aspects.
Steath, AI, gunplay, neat little details, controls and atmosphere got fucked up.
All the bad things from LL put into 2033.
Forot to add, LL redux is better than vanilla LL though because of the analogue watch alone.
What does /v/ think of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness? Anyone else want a sequel to this?
Why does /v/ love this game?
Whats the best DOOM .wad?
This is music made for a videogame side scrolling...
Think about it...Bach tier level symphonic music for a beautiful pixel art game....
Good luck finding this caliber of music in modern AAA multi-million dollar development games.
Fuck the modern game industry.
10/10 licensed games
You mean most ps1 licensed games? surely you do.
If Japan makes the best games, why have they never made good first person shooter? Chekmate.
What does /v/ think of Partners in Time?
Pretty average. There wasn't a lot of good moments or humor. World was a little too standard, lack of a real overworld made the whole thing feel too linear even if it wasn't any moreso than the rest of the series. Super easy cause dem babies.
Ys Thread. Just finished 2, do I play Oath or Origins next?
If you just finished 2, play Ys Origin first since that is a direct prequel story-wise to Ys 1 and 2.
They're both awesome.
