What is your favorite Banjo Kazooie level, /v/?
>high temps even while idle
>broken drivers resulting in lots of unplayable games
>no HBAO+, TXAA, PhysX, or any other VisualFX to enhance visual quality.
Holy fuck, do not fall for the "buy an AMD" meme
What makes good character design?
I want to get into fighting games, but I get too stressed out during matches, and too emotional if I lose. What should I do?
Reminder: Sony no longer allows you to buy games you got "free" with PS plus.
Anyone with an expired PS plus membership? Could you check if you still can't buy them after the membership expires?
Did you buy the new Square Enix surprise box?
>I'm really in to JRPGs anon...
What are some games that take place in South America?
About to play WoW again today for 16 hours just like I did the past 4 days.
See you later /v/
What is the best current FPS available? What are your favorites?
I am in the mood for an FPS. I haven't touched the genre in a very long time. I used to love Quake and UT, and I played and loved Halo up to 3, and Gears 1 and 2. Liked Borderlands for the guns but hated the "humor".
The point is, since then I haven't found an enjoyable FPS. I tried Destiny at launch but it was shit. Is it different now? If not, what is actually good? Of course I have the new UT that is in pre alpha but it is pretty limited at the moment.
>wanting a good fps
Is this the pinnacle of the SRPG/TRPG genre? I'm not being facetious, I'm really looking for a comparable game
>mfwihnfw I literally had a "teleports behind you" summoner character with Equip Katana and the time mage's Teleport
The classic Shining and Langrisser games are up there too. Tactics Ogre doesn't have as good of balance, but beyond that, it's on par. Then you have stuff like Arc the Lad 2 and the better Front Missions scattered around.
FFT still stands as an example of an srpg with decent balance, good maps, a good level of challenge, a good plot, good characters, good unit variety via the job system, solid gameplay mechanics, and a suitable need to actually utilize, you know, tactics/strategy.
What more does an srpg really need? Is it the best? I dunno. But it's a contender for it.
But then there are also people who honestly believe that FE and Disgaea games are good srpgs.
>inb4 old FE was
Thracia is the only FE that was a good srpg.
This is your date tonight.
>WoW gets popular
>Every MMO for the next decade has to be an exact clone
>Runescape is not only popular but paves the way for most other MMOs for an entire generation
>It is still the only game of its type
It's hard to clone a game like runescape, because though the fan base was not as big as wow they were just as dedicated, no one left wow to go play a clone of it, just like no one would leave runescape to play a clone of it.
what does /v/ think?
