Just picked up a copy of A Link to the Past and am playing through it for the very first time, Just got to the dark world. Gotta say, this game is dank as fuck.
Also god-tier videogame thread.
How come meme games never get finished/made? Remember that Vivan or Ebola-chan game? Those went nowhere
Two of my work colleagues who are pretty good friends have absolutely fucking disgraceful taste in video games. The past two weeks they've been constantly shilling The Division, wanting me to buy it to play with them and I can't bring myself to do it. Nothing about that game appeals to me and no matter how many times I tell these pleb motherfuckers how shit of a company Ubisoft are, they'll reply, "But it's fun". When I ask them to elaborate on what they mean by that, exactly, neither of them can give examples and we're back at, "You need...

> copy an existing idea
> make it 2D and indie
How does indie dev get away with this? They are literally stealing ideas for Dark Souls and Harvest Moon respectively. What's next? Megaman? Castlevania?
>What's next? Megaman? Castlevania?
Ai No Uta. Any thoughts?
most fucked up game you've played?
Anyone been playing Paragon?
Looked cool so I'm downloading it now
Yup I've been playing it and although there are some issues, I mean it's fucking alpha gameplay, it looks like the devs really do listen to the community so that's good. I've been having a lot fun though
How was I supposed to know what this meant?
Could you not feel the tension of the scene? Literally what else could it fucking mean?
Take for example when you encounter Babyface or whatever that stripclub fuck's name is at the end of chapter 3(?). As soon as I saw him, I knew an option would be there to punch him, because I wanted to punch him.
Accordingly, Woodsman was being a bitch, and I knew there would be an option to fuck his shit up. And there was.
How the fuck do I play this game? This is literally the hardest paradox game ever made. I've played it for many hours and I still suck.
I miss Victoria Empire under the sun. That game was easy. It was straight forward. It was really simple to conquer and to change pops to what you wanted.
My problem with it is. You have to manage too many fucking things. You can't even control more than a few provinces or your vassals get angry.
Sometimes vassals betray you for no reason.
Sometimes your son is an idiot
What is/are the best MMO(s) available right now?
Theme park or sandbox, though sandbox is always preferred.
Finally tired of the XIV gear treadmill and need a new timesink.
Tera - great combat, pretty decent PvE and PvP
Dungeon Fighter Online (fuck you, it is an MMO) - 10/10 combat and music plus the most well-balanced PvP you will ever find in an MMO, but its instanced and super grindy
I would have recommended Rift as well but it recently became Pay2Win
Theres also Camelot Unchained which looks amazing, but its in alpha right now
Because it was located in another game mode you didn't play.
Goddess is real and her name is Marie Rose.
Sorry guys, I meant to post Honoka.
Linkles are for _____?
Which game do you feel had the best gun play/mechanics/sound?
I think Bad Company 2 hasn't been beat yet. The guns just felt so good to shoot and they sounded awesome. Not to mention no other game had more satisfying sniping. It actually felt good to get a head shot especially a moving target.
