Nintendo's new console will have a dry launch line up. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I have a problem with the "holy trinity" of healer/dps/tank. But more specifically, i have a problem with tanks. More specifically, i have a problem with this shit mechanic called "aggression", or "aggro" for short.
It's incredibly stupid. It might work with beasts and unintelligent enemies but are we supposed to believe battle-hardened humanoid creatures would actively choose to beat on the heavily armored warrior instead of the rogue next to him?

pretty funny

I didn't even ask for an NV thread I was just using it as an example
Why exactly is nv good? the gunplay fucking sucks and the quests suck, the only decent thing about it is the gore and sometimes funny responses
>git gud is just an excuse for bad game mechanics
Why are Soulshaters coming out of the woodwork?
Are they that asspained over people liking something?
>>331801597
Which mechanics?
>>331801770
Yes, because they literally could not git gud so they play the blame game like actual children.
Has anyone here just had enough? I honestly can't love Nintendo anymore, they don't represent me anymore. They don't do what I like.
I thought the NX leak was fake, but now its real. I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!!

I feel you m8, that's why i killed myself last night.
You should try it too
so, what. you grew up?
I'm introducing my brother to classics from my generation and we've gotten to pic related. Is he just a moron or was the game always this tedious backtrack fest? It's taking him forever to find the items in the very beginning and I'm afraid it's putting him off of the franchise. REfags, do chime in.
>>331801464
You have to like the spooky mansion/haunted house/investigation adventure or you won't like the classic REs. The core gameplay loop is encounter closed door, explore more rooms, find puzzle, solve puzzle, get key/puzzle item, explore more rooms, encounter more puzzles, solve them, get key for some locked doors on the other side of the mansion. The monsters you encounter on the way are just an obstacle to get past.
>>331801464
>or was the game always this tedious backtrack fest?
Yes though it's not tedious unless your an ADD fag. It's fun and one of the central components of the game to explore the place and find keys to unlock more areas to explore.
>>331801827
This guy is right and said it better than me.
>>331801464
>backtracking
If I could ban one word from being ever used in a topic about videogames...
The game's a fucking horror-adventure game. More than half of the game's "point" and appeal is the fact that the entire mansion's this one huge 3D "puzzle", that you first map out, and then start unwrapping open bit by bit.
What could have saved the Dreamcast?

A time machine.
Even though it had a ton of features that later systems would all have, it happened too early. Kind of like the Nokia N-Gage.

Maybe not allowing people to play pirated games right out of the box would have helped.

Hopefully, they'll learn from complaints about gameplay and character progression moving forward. Same with the issue of reconciling a compelling narrative and the freedom an open-world entails. Hope they go with a hub system a la VtM:B.

http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2016/03/22/danganronpa-3-anime-cast-previewed
So after months of no news we're supposed to get a trailer for the anime on saturday, there was also a komatsu leak featuring the 12 new characters for the anime. Expectations, hopes?
The only things I'm hoping for are that we get some closer to the events of towa city and jabawock island. Honestly I don't even know why you would need to bring in 12 new cast members when you already have so many from past games that people are wondering about. Funny though, monokuma...

Stop. It's funny, because the Wiiu is literally GC 2.0. As in, it has a great small collection of amazing first party games, but shits the bed in terms of quantity.
Literally kill yourself.
