Hey anons what do you guys think of the new Doom game coming out in a few months? I played the pre alpha last summer & loved the multiplayer. Do you guys think it has a chance to make it into esports?
Hell isn't hellish enough, the guns don't look that satisfying, and the soundtrack is probably gonna be all hardcore rock and wub wub shit with nothing else.
I'll wait until release to see what happens, but so far it looks generic with nothing but a small idea about what makes Doom fun and unique.

>last good survival horror was some dumb indie game
Why is the genre so dead?
Horror games are a niche genre so no big studio wants to make them.
Indie devs can make them for that reason but often lack the talent or intent to make it something other then a hide and seek simulator.
Horror in general has become stagnant because we've seen it all before and have become desensitised to it. And due to recent movie trends its turned to the lowest common denominator i.e. jump scares and video games have followed suit because money.
>Horror games are a niche genre
Yeah that's why Slenderman and Five Nights at Freddy made a billion dollars and we get a shitty spookhouse Paranormal movie every month that makes a trillion dollars
Why are western games devoid of any lady of class?
All we have are manface mcmanjaw bitch ass cunt.
