How will you be buried, /v/?
>be a kid
>ask parents for sonic 3
>pic related could've happened if died that day
I fucking told you so.
It was so obvious. They are betting big on VR.
What's a videogame series that came back after a long time only to ruin everything you loved about it?
You killed her, didn't you?
Didn't even recognize her, but that's the italian place right? So she's that friend who wonders where the fuck you've been?
Nah, let her run off and take the masquerade hit iirc. Always found it easy to avoid getting too low on it so it wasn't a big deal.
If there was an option to make her into a blood doll or ghoul I would've done that though.
>A fucking mushroom
Are they right?
They are allowed to be upset. The funny part is that SJWs who usually won't shut up about "muh cultural imperialism" are laughing about the Japanese now and celebrating a vital victory.
I guess cultural imperialism is okay, when you agree with the values imposed on others.
We need the japs to boycott these kinds of decisions made to their games, along with us doing the same. It would deal a much bigger blow than just one side alone.
The puritans who make these kinds of complaints won't buy the game anyway, so companies will really be missing out.
Did anyone watch yesterday's Giant Bomb stream on the Rift? What a fucking joke.
>Their main title looks like shit and has microtransactions up the ass (EVE Valkyrie)
>Neat looking games where the VR shit makes the experience considerably clunkier instead of benefiting it in any way (Chrono, Fly to Kuma, Lucky's Tale)
>Ports of games with added unimpressive VR that gets old (and possibly nauseating) quickly (The Vanishing of Ethan Carther, Elite: Dangerous, Albino Lullaby)

>strictly for the old-school player
What are some video games where you're character is already dead?
Stubbs The Zombie
>TWO BONFIRES LITERALLY BACK TO BACK
HOLY FUCKING SHIT, MY SIDES
Both Demon's Souls and Bloodborne did this a couple times, too, because they had a "rule" that an archstone/lantern had to appear whenever you killed a boss.
Dark Souls, though... it's a lot weirder.
Do I need to play the other Drakengard games before I start with Nier? Are they related? I heard the others are pretty sub-par.
Nier thread I guess.
Have you worshiped our god today /v/?
Are Batman games any good for someone who is not interested in the setting?
Yes. I was never even remotely interested in any superhero bullshit but I loved batman games. start with Arkham Asylum then play Arkham City, then Arkham Knight then Origins if you'll want more.
Also Knight is perfectly fine on PC with latest patch - played though it like a week ago and encountered 1 (one) bug with weapon sticking to nightwing hands during cutscene. ended up 100%ing this game
Depends what you mean by not interested. Games have shitload of trivia and characters bios that are really interesting to read, I didn't know shit about batman except movie stuff until I played them and it was really fun just reading character profiles
>Post good video games
>Explain why they are shit
>Broken and half game
>Credits every single mission
>2 Boring sand boxes with nothing interesting
>Dull characters who can't be differentiate with each other
>Quite was the main selling point
