Is this the only good soundtrack ever made for a video game?
How am I stupid? Most game soundtracks are repetitive, poppy, minimal garbage with very little thought put into actual listenability or artistry because by and large they'll be ignored or praised regardless.
Austin Wintory didn't get a grammy nod for no reason.
If they remade FF8, you'll buy it. I know you will.

Does anybody know of any games that start one way, but by the end of the game it feels like it's a completely different story or experience? Like it feels like a different game tonally, story-wise, character-wise, or maybe even gameplay-wise? But in a good a way? Pic unrelated.
I'd like to know too, I know of anime that start with a happy tone & turn really dark at some point. I can't help but feel that I've encountered vidya like that too, but can't recall.
what is your ideal LOTR vidya?
Dive into the Appendices, there's so much in there that you can make MANY games without ever touching the actual events of LOTR.
just finished this game, what'd you all think of it?
Could this be the dawn of true kaiju vidya?
