Would games like DaS/Bloodborne be possible under western devs? Or does the series stand contradictory to western dev philosophy?

Personally, I'm really hoping it'll be good, the first game is amazing.

All they had to do to compete with 10/10 360 controller was to switch left stick with D-Pad.
Still, DS4 feels really nice and having two extra buttons is very useful. At least my thumbs don't touch each other anymore.
