>everyone talks about how FF13 was the Lightning show
It's a pretty easy way to see the fuckers that didn't play through the game, right?
It was though.
>you don't even play as her all the time
Everything falls on lightning or is about lightning
>shes the protagonist, she should be the center of attention
The crystal crew should be the protagonists but every bit of exposition falls right back on how the ultimate waifu is the answer to the world's woes.
Whose your favorite normalboots channel?
how does this make you feel?
So now films also, months in advance, are attempting to normalize pre-orders?
Pre-ordering movie tickets has been around for many, many, many years.
Shit, I remember my 8th birthday where we all went to see Jurassic Park: The Lost World and my parents ordered tickets 2 months in advance.
Is Gothic 3 worth playing with the community patch? Or should I just play Risen instead?
Soulsfags on suicide watch.
>A few things I learned about virtual reality after spending way too much time in it
>A lot of the stuff out there shows massive promise — but plenty of it is not great. I checked out most of the 30 Oculus Rift launch titles, and I’d say maybe five are really great examples of what VR brings to the table. Many aren’t really improved by VR; they’re just okay games that happen to have VR support. Some of them are actually made worse by poorly shoehorned VR into an otherwise intriguing game (I wanted to love you, Chronos, but your fixed camera that changes wildly from room to room is the worst.) The Vive has some truly mindblowing stuff that brings in its motion-sensing controllers, but it’s largely short demo experiences right now.
>VR Neck is a thing. Strapping a headset to your face for hours on end and throwing your head about makes your neck hurt.
>Both the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive have long, thick cables attached to them — cables that are easily tripped over or caught on your foot while you sit at your desk. Trip over that wire and you’ve just sent your $500+ headset, with its fragile innards, rocketing toward the ground. It’s an easy but super-expensive mistake to make.
>Get used to having a little ring around your eyes/nose where the headset had been sitting, much like the one you might get after wearing snowboard goggles.
B-but it's not a gimmick...
>VR isn't really worth it without roomscale
>Roomscale completely limits what kind of games you can make with VR
>A lot of the stuff out there shows massive promise — but plenty of it is not great.
Oh hey look, it's what literally everyone has ever said about software on any piece of brand new technology since the dawn of fucking time.
I'm pretty sure, if you go back far enough, there's a caveman who is entirely unimpressed with fire because hey, heating the cave shows promise, but there just aren't many practical applications for it
What are some games where you can play as SWAT or other special forces?
Alternatively, games that feature such and portray them as competent.
Finally finished this game, what the fuck was that ending about?
Dragon's Dogma Thread
Fast as the wolves of eyesrack!
Should I get a 390 or a 970? Which meme should I fall for?
>"The Out of the Blue update removes several features implemented in order to make Tribes: Ascend work as a free-to-play game—classes, for example, as well as a massive number of ‘sidegrades’ for each weapon archetype. This directly makes the game less viable as a business venture. I ask McBride if this means the decision to return to the game was more ‘heart’ than ‘head’."
>“The intention is to at least stretch it out over a longer tail, so, if we do need to leave it, we’ll have a planned date, so we can make sure everything’s in order. We didn’t do that last time. It was like ‘we all need to go onto Smite, right now.’”
So they're going to put it on life support now after killing it? What a joke
>tfw all the fun and shazbots are gone.
>tfw no more disco parties.
>tfw no more sneaky peaky infiltrator shenanigans.
>tfw no more going fast around the beautiful huge maps.
>tfw jews ruin everything.
It could have rivaled tf2 and cs:go in player bases, but noooooo, lets milk it for as much as possible as soon as possible.

Why is this a PS4 exclusive if ports of older SNK games were what saved them from bankruptcy?
At one point I'm sure they said it's "PS4 console exclusive".
Also I don't think SNK was bankrupt, they just had no video game division to speak of.
Even if that were true, it's more the buyout by Leyou Millennium that changed their direction. I think the PC ports they produced just convinced the company that bought them that there was potential value in doing so.
To keep it vidya, what are your favourite games?
