In honor of all the Kickstarter crowdfunded games in development hell (read: corporate theft) I would like to ask you all what games that actually made it through development after being funded you see as being a true success worthy of their funding.
And, no, Reddit bait games don't count.
>inb4 Harvest Moon clone.
Real talk, can anyone who has played or watched this game tell me, why does he wear the mask?
He's got some disease from his time travelling and going to the end of time
the mask administers his treatments so he doesn't become some time shifting abomination that exists and doesn't exist at the same time
Continued from last night's self-imposed challenge threads. We post our favorite games and give each other challenges.
As promised I'm doing the cashless and capeless run on Super Mario World to the best of my ability, and I'm at Bowser Valley. This shit was actually tougher than I though it would be. It made me appreciate Super Mario World in a new way, and re-discover it. It really is a very fun game.
you mean not touching coins?
I plan on successfully doing a no save point run of this, I've only made one attempt so far, and I died after 3 hours
What the fuck /v/
What does /v/ think about Cemu?
I think it is absolutely useless for games like Splatoon and Mario Maker. I'm also questioning how they'll approach the issue of the gamepad - I'm aware wiimotes are easily emulated, but the gamepad and the way its gyro aiming works in games like Starfox and Splatoob may prove difficult to map unless some company starts making 3rd party pads.

I think it has potential, but like you said, it'll either be completely useless for 90% of the games on the WiiU, or someone will have to think up a really clever solution for how they're going to handle the second screen.
They might entertain he idea of doing it something like they do with DS emulation, but even that's a pretty bad solution.
I know this is gacha shit, but for free so far I'm having fun.
Anyone else giving it a go? I've abandoned caring about KH's story, but I still like the world.
>he didn't side with Ursus
What's your excuse?
You bet your ass I did. I was invited into a party immediately upon joining, and the leader hasn't added anyone new.
I assume you need a solid crew to fight raid bosses eventually? Should I jump ship?
My friends and I played P.T. (The playable teaser for the since cancelled Silent Hills) the other night and since then strange things have been happening to me. I want to know if playing this game has caused odd things to happen to anyone else. Pic not related.
It's just the Pre-beta that makes it look like garbage, right?
Sure that's why Duscae looked way better, yet it came out before the pre beta gameplay was recorded
Dear god I hope it will. But I think I'm not too happy from the gameplay we're given.
But I'll let you decide, I'm currently following this playthrough right now.
I live in a town where we're literally like 60 years behind. Like horse and buggies, amish, all farm land, houses that are 300+ years old, more dirt roads than cement roads, and a golf place near me that has an arcade room JUST got this and I was hype as fuck and spent like 10 bucks kicking the fuck out of my friends. But anyways, is there anything you've seen vidya related that just got you super hype.

Chess is a perfect game.
Has there been a video game other than Tetris to reach the same level of perfection?
