Name a better final boss theme than pic related.
I know you can't
It is pretty good.
Hopes and dreams
Dancing Mad
it was a pretty damn good boss fight.i liked the shadowlord in nier more, though for different reasons
>>334511462
it wasn't even that hard but holy shit was it one of the most hype boss fights I've ever played
now if only they had removed the stupid throwing and cutting attack because it slowed everything down too much
So how the fuck do you kill those?
I swear they're even worse than the Drakekeeper Knights from 2.
They swing endlessly, never stagger, never tire and kill me in two hits tops.
Parrying is semi-effective, but the timings are so weirdly delayed I have trouble getting them down.
>>334510881
Git gud.
>>334510881
Acquire proficiency
you dodge and backstab
Did anyone else findthe secret labyrinth underneath smouldering lake? If you get the basalisk canon to hit this specific patch of stones in the lake it reveals another secret area.I found it entirely by accident and felt like sharing it. This game is too fucking cool.
Also, DS3 secrets and hidden stuff general
>>334510813
wanna take a screenie of where exactly? I herd it was where a man made wall and a natural wall met but I cant find much like that.
Sure give me a few minutes
it appears to be part of lost izalith. It's full of statutes of demons from the first DaS, and a statue of queelaag can be found
Who is exited for no man's sky?
Exited the moment I saw it was one of those "work" games where you just click things to unlock new things to click on.
No man
>>334510695
How can I be excited for something that will never exist?
What's your favorite wrpg?
VtM:B. BG2 and Torment are probably tied for second. I've always wanted to like IWD, but without a story it's just never grabbed me once I'm over the combat.
Hard to pick one.
I really liked the adventuring feel of Baldur's Gate.
I really liked the ambience and progression of Gothic.
I really liked the setting and ambience of VTMB.
>>334510845
Yeah, I totally forgot about Gothic. Night of the Raven was the shit.
This is a hard game...
>>334510327
The size of that axe is comical.
Damn...
Such hardcore... Much difficulty...
>>334510327
Those faggots are probably the hardest normal enemy in the game
So, any of you guys got that shit? Personately I get stutter on an R9 380, annoys me a lot.
>>334510306
>Personately
What
>>334510306
I'm actually thinking of upgrading my shitty 6 year old card to an r9 380, what are your settings?
>mfw lowest settings at 800x600 and I still get heavy stutter in cluttered areas
Gonna be building a PC soon with my return.
What should I get to make sure DaS3 runs well?
I don't know shit about PC building, and I have some buddies helping out who are super knowledgeable about it, but I wanna know what works for you guys.

Sorry I didn't make a thread about my loli desktop wallpaper.

Why do people say this is one of the greatest games of all time? I recently got it for the 3ds since I never owned an N64 and I wanted to finally play this game and I am so fucking disappointed its unreal.
I seriously want to know why people think this game is so good, I cant believe how hidden everything is and how nearly impossible the game is without a guide. I just got to the fire temple and have no desire at all to keep playing.
All this hidden and cryptic shit, I mean I don't want hand holding but on my first time how am I suppose to know about the scarecrow...

You're right. OoT is the absolute king "nostalgia goggles" game. It wasn't good in the 90's and it sure as hell isn't good now. If you're hating it just stop playing, it really isn't going to get any better.
>>334510140
The scarecrow is entirely optional. He's just for secrets so it makes sense that he is hidden.

Welcome to /v/, here's your "I fit in now" card
How do you feel about episodic games?
Awful. Alan Wake isn't though. Why is that there? It was released as a complete product.
It's nice to have less stuff encumbering my back log, I'm constantly behind on games and when I see "episodic" I don't even add it to my list of games to consider
Also, why is this a trend now?
We all know that it is for making tons o monis, but would this type of thing bring some new "progress" to the industry?
The things I see about it:
PROS
-It could let developers make a GREAT FUCKING GOOD parts/chapters of the games, since they would only focus on single or just some chapters of the game
-It would be possible to make something that "glues" all the parts together (if this is even possible today), making all the episodes a whole game.
-Developers could focus on different types of gameplay...

What are you gonna do with that piece of shit now anon?
>>334509646
upgrade it? i'm not poor, anon
save $100 and still be able to play the same stuff? few fps difference won't change much if any
I'm also too poor to afford a 4K TV, and I need that difference to buy games
>4K
4K is a meme and no console will ever use it without going back to PS1 tier graphics with how much CPU power it's going to take off the game.
What went wrong?
60$ pricetag on a game with very minimal replayability, not all characters are unlocked from the start forcing a filler in between unlocking good characters.
It's upsetting to see a good idea bail so fast.
Slow content updates
> a filler in between unlocking good characters.
Unlocking characters was super quick though. The Situations give you a fuck ton and the tutorial does too

Wish list for Pokken?
Slowbro, Snorlax, and Aegislash

He's a bit busy with /co/ right now, so there might be a delay.
one of these guys
Discuss current RPGs you're playing, why you love or hate modern RPGs, why you think the gold box games are better than the IE ones, why you think blobbers are superior to isometric games, and anything else RPG related.
>>334509464
And of course, your opinion on romances.
Are the Avernum remakes any good? Is it just better graphics and UI?
>>334509464
What's a blobber?
And I'm currently starting my first playthrough of BG, seeing all of these hate threads on Dragonspear oddly helped get me into the mood. Rolled a zerker, gonna multi mage.
I want to play organically ofc, but is there any romance in the first game? I ask because I'm playing a female, so if I want to romance a female NPC (why wouldn't I?) I need to use the editor to force start it.
Games you wanted to beat but never got the chance to
For me it was the first Rayman.
Ps2 slim chewed up two copies.
Finally got it on ps3 and I'm planning on beating it
Also, fuck Band Land.
>fuck Band Land
Enjoy Eat at Joe's then - it's worse than Bongo Hills.
>>334511302
Oh God
>>334509362
>beating Rayman
HAHAHA
No idea how you could possibly do that without farming for lives. And some of those cages are so insanely hidden. They might not even pop up without you doing some inane shit.
I'm currently replaying it oniPadand luckily they have a mode that gives you infinite lives so that I dont have to farm.
