What is /v/ views on DRM? For anyone who doesn't know what DRM is it's basically a creators restriction of its digital products. You can't make backup copies or burn products on a disc if it's DRM backed. This will explain it further

>>334669458
I've almost never seen a DRM that is remotely decent to put up with; to the point that I'll almost always seek out non-DRM stuff ie pirated stuff because even though it can be a hassle to get going, it is far less hassle than the BS most DRM's introduce.
>ads on private media YOU purchased
>inability to mod software YOU bought
>having an always-on internet requirement or online check for singleplayer games
>>334669458
drm doesn't really affect how pirates buy or not buy because they just don't spend money whatever the circumstances
its just there to royally irritate those who purchase shits
>>334671349
I just wish games became impossible to pirate so they finally ended withtheir ebin "WE LOST MILLIONS OF INEXISTENT SALES BECAUSE PIRATES THAT CAN'T EVEN AFFORD TO EAT DIDN'T BOUGHT OUR SHITTY GAMES"
I have never played a more mechanically shit game than this
Terrible framerate, awful controls, doesn't even look that good
It's kinda fun I guess, but why is it so highly regarded?
>>334668997
Play the remaster on PS3.
You're not....poor are you?
Cinematic experience done right
How many call of duty games you own?
Looking back, what do you think of the Zelda DS games?
PH was ok and ST was preddy nicecaptcha: select images with trains
Spirit Tracks was fun, I never beat it though.
I think the second to last song was just fucking impossible to do in the learning part, so I just ened up forgetting about it.
They're pretty fun but they don't get given a fair chance.

Its hard to believe this is what Kings Field evolved into, and has now apparently ended with.
Really?
Where is the atmosphere gone?
right here in my hand!
>>334668572
Dunno, but it's a good thing you made another thread about it.
>>334668572
King's Field and DeS were anomalies of the universe, a gift from a higher power that From Software was only the vessel for.
We're 3.5 years into the 8th generation of consoles. How would you rate it so far?
made me a pc gamer/10
better than the first 3.5 years of the 7th generation by far.

2/10
When the next generation comes, it'll be 6/10
Increase the score by 1 for each consecutive generation
Can't remember the name of that old game you played as a kid? Post it here, /v/ will help you figure it out.
Be descriptive. State the platform, genre, mechanics, graphical style etc. Anything you can remember.
>snes game
>character is dressed in blue
>goal is rescue a princess
>platformer
>jumping on leaves or beanstalks
i saw it in a copy of gamepro so i know it exists
>>334668432
there is one i can't remember the name of, it was a shooting game set in the wild west on either snes or genesis. i remember there was a chick you can play dressed up with wild west attire, and you could co-op with someone else. i know there were other characters you could play as but i don't remember them, just the female you could play as. the last thing i remember is, when you beat the game, the woman was sitting on the ground with her legs outstretched as the credits rolled by. if you were co-oping,...

git gud
>>334668192
They're not bugs they're features. It's to make the game even more hardcore.
I suggest you git gud.
Works fine for me. Maybe check your optimization settings?
Have you had any of your messages rated?
You are leaving messages right?
>>334668113
>Leave good message on how to defeat Wolnir in the easiest way possible
>Hosts read it, run straight up and beat on his left arm while it's in the fog and die
>Rate the message down because they don't understand poison or waiting until his arm leaves the fog.
I put a "No illusionary wall ahead" in a random spot and people give me a ton of ratings.

Usually they prefix those with Dark.

This
why i think the nost devs weren't doing it for free:
Why didn't the devs just release all the tools to host for free?
once all that shit is out there's no going back and they would have won.. just like how people didn't want that 3-d printed gun to get out but it did
there is definitely more too this story that they didn't release.
>>334667941
We definitely can speculate. I honestly think they are scared blizzard will follow through with legal action if the release the code. Or maybe they want to find the right group to start up the server instead of splitting the player base. I felt like they sincere in they just wanted to create vanilla but I could definetly be wrong

>I honestly think they are scared blizzard will follow through with legal action if the release the code.
